That nihil bug eating was horror like, imagine if it was a live animal, ew.

Man, thinking that they have to kill all those birds, hanging them up in stores, gutting them they're essentially killing babies, think of where my food comes from it's sad really.

Most stupid and nonsensesical chapter in the history of manga and Anime imo.

After the last one being a fairly funny and tension growing chapter that reminded me of Dragon Ball I have to say worst chapter ever released by far.

I´m ok with a mangaka creating his own universe with his own unique rules in torikos case I thought it was a fresh and nice idea revolving the story around food and it´s obaining.
I could acknowledge the ability growth behind eating tasty food which makes no sense if you break down scientifically what taste is. I found it interesting how the mangaka took inspirations from real creatures to create his abilitys and creates. And it was nice to have an explanation behind every ingredients origin or uniqueness, same thing for abilitys, he always explained them.

Now the Million bird made it´s appearenace and it´s the most stupid lump of shit I ever saw.
First he explains the requirements for breeding the animal just to point out that it replicates infinitely, for reasons, without the neccesity to furtner refilled with energy because it´s a magical bird.

That´s completely in contrast of how Torikos rules where untill now (everything costs calories) the bigger and tastier the ingredient is the more calories it has, I´m ok with his. Some ingiredients are like the meteor garlic are excpetions but it get´s explained. Which he just skipped for that stupid bird.
