| What the actual fuck have I just watched. Confucius said: Lol what is up with this supernatural stuff? It felt like it came out of nowhere. This. I don't know, of course I was expecting to see some demonic stuff, it was obvious after episode 1, the behelit, that beast they fought against... But this is way too much coming out of nowhere. Looking forward to some explanations and proper wrap up on final episode. |

| So this is where Griffith becomes the bad guy. Well it's partly his own fault for falling into despair simply because Guts beat him in a fight, but torturing him for one year certainly played a bit part as well. I know where he'll go first to get his revenge... |

| Wow, tbe ending isn't dissapointing. These last few episodes have been 5/5's so far. In hindsight, the first episode was a bit unnecessary. Sure, it gave a glimpse that gets you hooked, but it feels a bit off. There isn't a big "everything fell into place" click. It feels unrelated to "this" adventure of Guts. 4 Demon lords/Gods appeared. And one of them was looking pretty fine. Griffith chose to sacrifice his remaining "friends". Well, we already knew that they weren't his true friends to begin with. Seems like seeing Guts (together with the mindtrick from the Demon Lord) was the final push he needed to sell out to his ruined dreams. The brands have been dealt. The banquet is about to begin. All I can hope for is for Guts to go Berserk, one last time. End this thing with a bang. Time to put those grasses on... One last time... B-) (I'm gonna miss that corny themesong) |

| Masterpiece. I'm super impressed by how OLM handled everything in such a creepy fashion and the antagonists all look incredible and scary at the same time and I love it. The whole red-colored setting is perfect and it's so appropriate for something such as the eclipse. Also, that griffith illusion was pretty cool and it once again solidified how well he's written. I love it. |

| The Griffith heel turn surprise is lost on me because Miura-san himself spoiled the story in like the first chapter of the manga. Oh well. The art in this episode is amazing. |

| In the end, it's Guts that gives Griffith the idea to follow his dream to the end. What a weird twist of fate! The Eclipse is one of the best thing I've ever seen in an anime, disturbing and stunning at the same time. This is the turning point of Berserk, Griffith makes his choice. It's like the Crucifission, a pain before become divinity, but this time he has to choose evil to become an Apostle. Now the REAL horror begins! |
