| I like how Guts has evolved. He isn't the broody bastard from two years ago. He is now somehow who cares for his solider. Who cares deeply for his commander. |

| I understand that Casca cares deeply for Griffith and her comrades but umm give Guts a break, I mean come on he changed alot now but you still think of him as a bastard. But the thing is I think that because you are jealous for Guts to become close to Griffith. |

| so is that griffith guy human? since he had the same necklace thingy as the snake guy from the first episode. it was weird how he could match Guts in strength when they fought with that skinny body |

| I really love the atmosphere of this anime so far. They all seem like greatly written characters too, I hope they keep on developing like this. |
| The look Guts gave to Casca while she was scolding him (at the start of the episode) got a single chuckle out of me. Also the music is something else, it's weird hearing some tecno/trance-like song during a medieval battle. But it was a new song, so I might just have to get used to it first. So what happened? Guts became captain and Casca seems to care about him now. Or starting to, at least. Corkus is still up to his old schemes, I should've known that 3 years wouldn't cut it with him. The Band of the Hawk gets knighted. They attack an outpost and the enemy commander flees. Griffith wants to chase him, but Guts detects a trap and warns Griffith. The enemy commander reaches his supervisor Boscone, who tells him the Band of the Hawk is still alive and sends him back. The episode ends with Guts & co standing in front of another castle, ready to attack. I'm guessing it's already Boscone's castle? Also, it seems like the old dude above Boscone will be a significant enemy. Edit: Also I just saw that the next episode is called "Zodd The Immortal". That's cool, because I randomly discovered BEAST IN BLACK 's - "Zodd The Immortal" a while back, before I even started watching Berserk. Now I know where that song's name comes from :D Please listen to the song! It's what I thought Berserk's music would be like, before I started watching. |

| Ugh I hate Casca. She being a totes tsundere bitch, except without the dere. She is a fuckin hypocrite. I hope she gets along with corkus so that she doesnt get in the way of Guts x Griffith.  Also speaking of Guts and griffith, it is so great they were able to communicate with their eyes. Guts may not be at griffith's ceremony but both of them know to respect the other's goals in life.  casca gets dealt the truth when she sees how guts saves griffith.god, it must have felt so humiliating when she was forced to accept the truth. the king is somewhat sus. no noble is that noble towards peasants, especially mercenaries. |

| Casca is a real tsundere! She took three years to understand that Guts has a heart and he cares for Griffith and his men. I really enjoy their arguments, Griffith has fun too with them. By the way in this episode, he continues to improve his status and his band of mercenaries are formerly in the army. What a great episode, less focused on battles and more on storytelling. Great episode, my favorite one so far. |
