Isn't that a contradiction? By complaining about a crappy episode you kinda indirectly imply that you wanted a better one... why else would you complain? If there wouldn't be any Anime in this world, only Endless Eight, nobody would complain because they have nothing to compare it to. But since they know better series, they complain because they want it to be as good as (or better than) other things they've seen. Ô.o

First, I never said it was exciting. Second, comparing it to watching paint dry is a bit extreme. Paint doesn't move or talk, and requires no real artistic talent whatsoever.

I personally like watching the variations in the artwork, character designs, subtle differences in emotion displayed in the animation, hearing the different deliveries in the voice work, editing, music, and overall execution of the episodes done by the different teams (assuming that is what's going on).

Of course, that doesn't mean I don't think this whole E8 thing isn't completely stupid and unneccessary. And there's no chance in hell I'm buying the DVDs. But at least I'm able to get some enjoyment out of it, no matter how small.

Everyone has their own way of appreciating art, no matter how idiotic the artist is. Insulting me by implying I'm a fool for enjoying it in my own way makes you look like an ass.

Endless shop was funny. Also Kyon's sound when picking up the phone at midnight was interesting. There was also Koizumi's strange laugh at the stargazing szene. Overall not really worth the watch. They should have made those episodes more different than this each time.

But I really expected the last 5 mins of this repetition to be different since it's the 7th time. Well, maybe they think it's funny to make this 9 instead of the 8 episodes everyone is expecting.

Not that I care much.

I think it will end at ep 10...I think they said it would repeat for 8 episodes not that it would be concluted and finished in 8 episodes. Repeat episodes 2-9, conclusion 10th.

But still, for all the haters of this second season of Haruhi, don't you watch the same episodes of the same shitty shows (e.g: same bad shonen, same bad harem, same bad action anime) week after week, for years, with sometimes the same rehashed animation, without feeling guilty about it? I mean, after watching one episode of Bleach or Naruto, you've watched all the following episodes, since it's basically the same characters, same developments, same fights and same style used again and recycled for 400+ episodes. This time, KyoAni litterally serves you the same episode (which is not even the same at all, there are heavy differences in the first 7 episodes of this arc as we've seen earlier), but this time, following a logical plot, serving the interest of the main theme of the series (the melancholy) and without reusing anything except the script ! I personnally find it great.

I do agree with most of your ideas.... But Sadly.... well considering that this a complete failure if Kyon, I'm actually I'm glad this can end.... Not because this was bad (the episodes), but because the Stupid Kyon will realize the truth....

XD BTW... have you seen that even when Nagato won the swimming race between her and Haruhi she looked bored? This gotta be a mess... I'd not be surprised if someday I watched a doujin Nagato killing everyone out of boredom hahahaha XD... And oh my... I loved HAruhi's cloth changes this time.... All were cute and/or hot... The last scene change is amazing.... I waana a gf with that kind of fashion sense haha

Kyon was hilarious but lame at the same time... The sighs... he's weird sleeping poses and his sounds when he received the night call hahahaha.... I just hope this ends soon...
