| I'm guessing the point of the airing is it will end when August ends... *Sigh* It's not eight because of eight episodes, but of August the 8th month. Otherwise lol wonder if they will profit or sink with all this. I guess if they add a free figma or nendoroid to the dvd it will sell. |

| might be ending at the 10th episode since the name inticates that it will repeat 8 times not be solved in the 8th episode... 1 ep was not part of the cycle 2-9 = 8 episodes 10 = the conclusion anyway haven't watched since ep 5, just waiting for this to stop as always |

| What I really want to know is what the director was thinking, I have heard that the animators did not like the idea, i guess they were only following oreders from the director. But just what was he thinking? Did he really think that the same ep over and over would be popular. WHY??? (I am actually generaly intresested why? does anybody know?) |

It doesn't matter what the people are thinking about it, the thing is they're talking about it all the time, and therefore it gains popularity. It's kind of like all the viral and negative marketing we see lots of today. |

| You know what? I'm thinking that they should just make the entire rest of this series Endless Eight. All of it. Call me crazy. It'll suck, definitely. But that way, if they actually decide they want to animate new content, they can make it a separate season of the show and not have to affiliate it with this masterpiece trash. Sure they'll lose some respect from fans for taking E8 all the way, but I think it would be better in the long run if they really want to keep this series going (although this fiasco has led me to question whether this is actually the case), especially since there's not really a whole lot more respect that they can lose from their fans.. |

| As I said in another thread, this so-called "season" is deserving of a 1. 1 on MAL means "unwatchable", so if you find yourself "skimming" the episode and watching maybe 30 seconds or less of each episode (like me), I think it's fair to say it's "unwatchable", thus, deserving of a rating of 1. Bare in mind, the tail end of what's left of the "season" may have some new content, but it looks like Endless Eight will be the majority of this "season". So based on that, my rating might go up a touch for the new content that's coming (hopefully), but Endless Eight consists of SO MUCH of the "season" that I'm probably not going to rate the overall "season" higher than a 3. It would have to be pretty damn good content after this arc to even get that high a score, because I rate an anime based on the OVERALL quality. Endless Eight has dealt such a fatal blow that anything, even animating Disappearance, has little to no chance of saving it. And we know Disappearance is not coming with this one. |
