| How both Hawk and Takamura were introduced into boxing was kind of similar, except that Hawk was more violent when he was trying to kill that dude. It just makes this match more emotional, and seeing Takamura messed up like that is not a pleasant sight, although he looks cooler with his hair messed up, I'm not sure how this'll go, but so far this battle is just amazing. |

| I legitimitely cannot believe people are hating on this episode. What in the holy fuck were you watching? This was one of the most epic eps of the series so far. The part when everyone's spirits were holding Taka up gave me serious chills. The only thing I could genuinely understand complaining about is the soundtrack placement. Hawk's backstory should have had more sinister music, and the part when everyone is crying over Takamura and the spirits show up should have had Eternal Loop playing instead of that weird kazoo shit. Other than that though it was phenomenal |

| Can't say too much about direction, because I wasn't paying too much attention to first season - I was simply too addicted to it, but it's definetely worse than in first season.I don't feel the same ''charm'' 1st season had. At least the animation is better and Kimura and Miyato don't look so alike. |

| Takamura's hanging in there for dear life and the one thing that's been keeping him upfloat was the hopes and dreams of his friends. It's already bad enough that Takamura's barely there but Hawk really is a psychopath who's out to kill him... |

| hawk coach: "just wanted to know how he will be in the ring" seriously? that guy isn't boxer, he's psychopath lol. feeling this match too much dragged, and takamura getting too much power-ups, some made sense, the late ones doesn't, and the way this lead it's seems it's going the hajime no ippo way. in first series i didn't really cared for the good direction, in this series i just wish for hawk to beat takamura up and takamura will rise for the dead to kill him lol. but oh well... takamura is still my favourite here, he staked all he got in the first five... |
| takamura looks fire lowkey with messy hair, hawk and miguel flashback pretty cool. takamura's lines never miss and him and the chief's chemistry is one of the best. |
