| Gero-michi can fuck off, he is an ungrateful piece of garbage. Which is a shame, because I really liked his arc in the first season and thought he was less annoying and more funny than I suspected he would be. And of course Ippo is still scared and shit... but at least this is FINALLY adressed, so we might see some change for him. Yay! |

| Return of Yamada took away from the introduction of Itagaki. I like him as a tritagonist and his storyline is pretty damn good as well, even tho most of it is in the manga. |

| I legitimately did not expect Geromichi to take such a dramatic heel-turn both in appearance and in attitude. It's almost sad seeing how unrecognizable he's become. I doubt that Ippo will be able to hold back after 1 round against him. |

| Don’t think I like this plot with Yamada. Suddenly becoming all tough and rude smh. As if he can compete for a title match. I hope Ippo beats him immediately. I’ll be annoyed if Ippo has trouble against Yamada after he almost beat Date a little while back (who then became Martinez’ greatest challenger). |
