| I actually loved Pain's "speech" but Shikamaru and Ino's dad talking was too much -_-, dumb ninja's i would've figured that out ages ago >_< and it was great to see that Naruto couldn't talk back to Pain haaha (^_^) But this episode was a lot better than the last one, looking forward to the "Confession" it'll probably be boring but shock you to "death" in the end :D |

| Hmm...a woman is going to step in and fight? Hinata will probably confess and get killed in the next instant before landing a blow. Also, I've forgotten about the power Itachi gave to Naruto to beat Sasuke. I wonder if that won't kick in at some point (if it isn't activated by the presence of a sharingan). As for this episode, I thought it was really good. A villain with reason, as opposed to a demi-god doing it just because (coughFMAcough) is always a lot better, creating real drama. The toad sage had to die, but I totally forgot about that little caveat in his archetype...since he was a frog. Still though, seeing his tiny body impaled by that chakra rod was pretty damn sad. |

That said tho, Pain is one of better characters in naruto and one of three decent villains(other two being Danzo and Orochimaru). | A little action and a lot of talking. Pretty smart how Naruto took out the other Pain though. All those attacked whose fate was uncertain, were confirmed to be dead... That's sad. And ji-sennin. :( Boy Nagato doesn't look too good. If Naruto, or Hinata as the case may be defeates the last Pain it doesn't look like beating Nagato will be very hard. I want more!! |

| Insane episode. I really wish they would stop naming the episodes with pretty much what is going to happen. "The Kyuubi Capture Complete" or whatever it was. Thanks dicks. Now I know exactly what is going to happen in the first minute. I was also screaming at the TV. "USE THE FUCKING KYUUBI STUPID!". Speaking of which, where's he been lately? Seems Naruto would get pissed off from stubbing his toe and the fox would come out. If any time would be a good time to say hi. Now would be it. |

When compared to most of cardboard cut outs of AssSasuke(where pretty much almost every member was a cardboard-cutout-fodder-with-some-personality-trait-to-separate-him-from-others), he stands out by being more of "unique" character. A pretty much omnipotent and invincible being who has set his life towards one goal only. His plan for world peace is interesting too(using tailed beasts as nuke bassically, doing to the world, what hiroshima and nagasaki events did to ours). So, As i said when compared to other villains in naruto these three stand out the most as being most unique, interesting and deep characters. His philosophy is at direct clash with naive ideals of Naruto, of Jiraya, of Minato, etc. For most of time (except when he was trolled alongside Naruto in few upcoming episodes), Pain's character felt like that old wise and realistic man, sitting in his chair, and laughing at the naivety of his kids. And no. In the next episodes you will NOT change your mind, however with each upcoming episode you will wish more and more that pain would be back and none of the upcoming shit would be happening.... It will be like.....people whining and whining about Clinton and then Bush coming into presidency... |

| EPIC ! :D No other word can describe this. Wow, just wow. I keep rewatching Nagato's speech. I can't believe they finally showed him. I had a good feeling about him being the ultimate anti-hero. I love him even more because of his voice(it's Vic Mignona) :D I hope they'll soon show what happened to Yahiko. |

I think Pain kinda has a point, it is indeed unfair that Konoha Ninjas destroyed his city/family/friends, and now this Konoha brat is trying to lecture him about peace and justice. I kinda hope they can just talk it out and they'll find a way to world peace without slaughtering each other, haha. |
