| Good episode, lots of funny moments and action scenes. |
| Am I the only one who caught the reference in the beginning to the Russian leader Rasputin and how he survived multiple gunshots? (He was shot in the head I believe, woke up, ran his ass out of his assassin's house, was shot two more times, ended up hiding in a river then freezing to death I believe. I don't remember). Eh. Whatever. All the history junk aside, good episode. |

| The jokes at the beginning were pretty average, but the episode got better as it went along. Black Star impressed me; looks like he can be kickass when he's not trying to assassinate someone. |
| animation top notch as always, BGM, awesome as always... yay, so finally the plot starts... soul having a dream was funny.. specially with blair (<3) and maka... maka kicking him was cool, no matter what soul says xD maka's chop was awesome, i wanted more death scythe was... weird... he might get funnier later on. i love how maka refuses his dad xD BlackStar really shouldn't be an assasin... he's still funny tho low voiced shinigami-sama wasn't cool at all, i want the old voice extra lesson... haha, poor maka, it seems like blackstar actually doesnt care lol @ soul snapping and at maka being depressed almost some fanservice from maka the fights were pretty nice blair fanservice <3 kill kon, kan kon black star in actually smart mode is good, he is better that way. seems like maka is more knowledgeable than we knew. even shinigami sama was impressed.... sugoi that 100% synch reminds me of some other anime... uhhh... well witch hunting = awesomeness, slip and fall, and almost killing blackstar was awesome as well trap star was awesome as well, it seems the characters here can get badass once in awhile. but trapping maka with sid was just lol.... though expected. i found it odd how they put this episode together (idunno whose fault it was... but it really was a weird way to put it) i mean, story + ED + OP + Op phrase + preview i mean... i got really confused when the OP played, then the "a healthy soul..." thing went on... i thought i was rewatching it.... anyways next ep stein makes his entrance... he reminds me of lloyd in CG for some reason... shinigami seems to have a secret as well... it seems like this arc will center on death scythe's past master.. who knows, we might get to know him better too. |

| No emotions in her screams? Are we watching different animes or what? For example in 8th ep, Maka's voice is breeze of freshness for my ears, usually filled with so many high pitched moe voices - I won't say I don't like them too :) but Maka is different and that's ok. |

| This is why I love to watch shounen Anime. It's because of their power-ups and their rage faces. It becomes so entertaining for me everytime I see those things, lol. Speaking of entertaining, Blair was really entertaining in this one. <3 I just loved how Maka and Soul tried to do their ultimate move to Sid. At first I was like "OOHH SHIT WTF IS GOING TO HAPPEN?" but then unfortunately later on, they failed, lol. They just need to master that move and it'll be deadly as fuck. Same goes for Black Star. I loved that new technique that he did. I can't wait for them to learn and master new more techniques. Okay so we finally saw the main antagonist? If I'm not mistaken, it's going to be that Frankenstein dude. I wonder what power he has. Is he more powerful than a witch? |
| lol nice try with Soul and Makka's witch thingy. . .2 bad Makka slipped!!! omg and Black Star an Tsubaki REALLY improved!!! i loved it how they did the trap star!!! lol but they got Soul and Makka 2 XD but it was really good!!! i hope they're this good in all battles!!! =D lol i hop they dont have 2 go 2 a class for dummies XP omg the beginning was funny!!! BLAIR!!! haha lol and the Makkaaaaaaaaa CHOP!!! bwahaha and i cant believe her dad is the new teacher now!!! ill tell u that things r gonna get interesting haha lol poor Soul... |

| I really enjoyed it, not as much as the previous epsiodes but this si still a great and very beautiful (<3 Blaire!) anime. Hope Kid Death gets a bit more to do though... |

Black Star saying he was gonna miss class 4 attention also had me laughing!!! and poor Kid never made it to the fight... |

| Roflmao 'Dark Priest' Rasputin.... who is immune to bullets. Didn't think I'd see a reference to a prominent member of Tsar Nicholas' II's court who was a monk who was assassinated by getting shot a few times, yet the bullets did not kill him and he died from hypothermia drowning in a river. Funny thing 'Dark Priest' is pretty accurate way to represent the historical figure of Rasputin who was quite the symbol of the decadence of the Tsarist court.... he was rumoured to participate in orgies at court and had tremendous influence over the Tsarina Alexandra who led the Russian government whilst Nicholas was at the front. Rasputin was rumoured to sell ministral positions in exchange for favours - he was an epitome of corruptness and decadence. |

| I'm tempted to just watch dub from now on because Maka's seiyuu is way too weird. Like she's absently reading some random crap with literally zero effort. OTOH, Soul's voice is great, go figure. |
| We got to see some new things this episode but the fight was mediocre at best... I want to see one like the first episode again. |
