| Im not sure if the author love or hate the Japan team. This feels like Danganronpa just without death, probably. If you can kick barefoot the ball, the ball isn't that hard, so stop faking it . Damn these football players. |

| to be honest I was a bit worried of how the animation will look but it looks great so far. Since I haven't read the manga, I don't know where this story will go but its got me hooked and I really enjoyed watching the episode |

| I missed Ao Ashi but this is completely different, more like battle royal than sports anime. The concept is interesting though, it's refreshing to see cultivation of an egoist rather than team member. Kira seemed like a good guy, too bad he didn't leave before signing up for Blue Lock when he had a chance. Actually I'm surprised no one left at all, the whole thing sounded so crazy. |

| In a word: exciting. I'm not a soccer fan, but I can watch something this intense. The bowl haircut guy reminds me of Midousuji, especially since Yowapeda is finally back. |

| Honestly the begjnning gave me Hunter x Hunter vibes and i loved that. Haven't read the manga but for this i just KNOW it's gonna be a great sports anime, i love that the characters are gonna showtheir true colours through time as they are encouraged to do so with the whole egotism plot piece. Also my favourite one so far is that yellow-haired sleeping beauty, that right there is a crazy mf i like him. |
| Holy Shit!!! That was an intense episode and its a great way to cap of the World Cup hype which starts next month. In Japan's desperate attempt to win the World Cup, Jinpachi Ego(no pun intended) has been tasked in selecting 300 potential strikers from high school and send them to a state of the art facility called Blue Lock where they will participate in a series of experiments in hoping that they will develop the next best striker coming out of Japan. Here we have Isagi Yoichi who came up short when his team didn't make it to nationals all because he didn't take the shot when he had it, but choose to pass it to his teammate instead. When Isagi was selected for Blue Lock, it was a second chance for him to play soccer again with the dream of being in the World Cup. To do that he has to fight his way to the top as he was ranked nearly last when he started. The first experiment is a brutal game of tag with the soccer ball in which the one with the lowest rank is eliminated and they would never be able to play soccer again. This is the complete opposite of Ao Ashi in a sense that it takes the fundamental aspects of soccer and throws it out the window in favor of being a Egoist or Narcissist. Can't wait to see what happens next. |

| Huge W. Wish I never read the manga so I could experience it in anime form first. Everything is pretty much perfect. If they keep up to this standards it will easily be one of the best sports anime of all time (not gonna make and comparisons cos don’t wanna start a war). |
| So this was one of the most anticipated anime for a lot of people and it does make sense now with the initial premise being very interesting. Although I haven't read the source material, the pacing felt perfect. The whole soccer explanation sounds dumb but for storytelling purposes, it works out. The final scene was well animated and the art is good enough to get the point across although there was one scene which felt like a page from the manga was directly pasted over the backgrounds. I'm pretty sure I got everything the anime is trying to go for but honestly, I doubt I'm going to even watch another episode. Yeah, this is very different from Ao Ashi but like there's no reason to compare them in every situation. |

| god damn this is probably the most edgy anime i have ever seen. Every character looks like an idol, every single dialogue is completely exaggerated, and tries way too hard to be emotional. knew the show would be like this after seeing the trailer.. meh I'll give it a few eps, it might grow on me, but for now its just pure edge not even the prodution will be able to make up for the edgyness.. ep looked kinda mid |
