| I watched the manga and the episode and both are equally good and the osts fit in well. As for Melascula did she burn because she couldn't handle Escanor's power or was it from his magic? I'm a bit confused. |

| It was an ok episode, but honestly still felt anticlimactic compared to the manga. A-1 are simply not capable of emphasizing on the dramatic scenes from the manga properly. What we get instead are dramatic shots of Melascula's ass lol... |
| So this is the character everyone was so hyped about. He definitely delivered. Ban was hands down my fave character of the show but now I'm not too sure. Escanor is definitely a contender. Looking forward to seeing more of him in battle. Praise the sun. |

| Jericho finding Escanor's bar was even more stupidly convenient than Ban being saved last episode. Wasn't aware Sugita was voicing Escanor. Sounds a bit weird with him using the tone he does. |
| Finally Escanor! Galand's defeat was one of my fav scenes from the manga and they did a good job animating it. The ost was nice, Escanor's voice doesn't fit him too well though imo. Matrona's voice is a surprise too but it's kind of fitting I guess. Now awaiting a certain other fight with Escanor to be adapted. |
| Oh, so this guy is Escanor and his main theme is the Sun... I love it xD I really found amazing how he wiped the floor with Galand and Melascula. |

| PRAISE THE SUN! Escanor intro was great, they adapted well from the manga. The running scene was hilarious, Galand golfing the boulder. Jericho gets the best girl status. The accidentally run to escanor's bar was lucky for them lol. Galand and Melascula drinking was hilarious, escanor night form was funny. And the nighttime to day time shift was funny asf. Escanor day form is badass, with his holy axe ritta. And the highlight of the episode is Escanor didnt fight them but they self destructred themselves. Anyways that was great episode the wait is worth it. |

It's time (or sun position) dependant, the weather itself doesn't really matter, since it doesnt change the position of the Sun. Though there are also other ways to activate his power, one of which will be shown soon. Btw. if you want to see some more of Escanor you can read the Manga Spin-Off "The Vampires of Edinburgh". It's just a side Story, so it doesn't spoil anything for Main Story. |
