| Well they did alright by giving us a bit more background info regarding Jeanne and her unnatural summoning, as well as the deal with Leticia... Other than that, it was purely random character interactions like the Black faction negotiating with Jeanne, the Jeanne and Seig talks as well as a little glimpse into Jack and her relationship with her "mother" so to speak. Not much in the way of development, though the mystery deepens on what Shirou is trying to do right now with manipulating Clock Tower assets... |

| Jeanne thinks that Astolfo is a girl. She refers to him as "she", but the translators messed it up. Evidently, this plays into something later on, so they shot themselves in the foot. |
| Easily the best episode of this show so far, as Sieg's subplot is far more interesting so far than anything in the actual Grail War has been, and I am far more interested in following him than I am in following either of the two factions, both of whom frankly seem like vile and terrible people for the most part; I'm hoping that neither side wins and that, if Jeanne's vision about Sieg is true, that he is the one who wins the Grail War in the end. |
Sole reason why this episode was awesome: We need more of main female lead of the series. :) |

| Astolfo has been pretty amazing for the last few episodes. He and Ruler made a good stand against Vlad in order to protect Sieg and they thankfully succeeded. Ruler also helped Sieg to stay with a kind old man and reassured him that he won't be seeing her again, although that was a lie, since she had a foreshadow of him being involved with the war and fighting as well. These two will meet again, which is pretty obvious by now. =P It looks like something decently major will happen soon by the looks of it, going by Shiro's move to take the command seals and the Loli-Assassin and her "mother" are planning on more bloodshed as well. Good episode overall. |

| I know Jeanne is waifu and all but this show is garbage. Everything related to homunculus is so painfully forced and pretentious. Characters are so bland and inconsequential it's impossible to care whether they live or die. Hell, maybe it would be better if everyone died right next episode, maybe at least something would blow up and actually happen. At this point it's hard to blame A1 alone (although they definitely deserve it), source has to be terrible as well. |

| Alright, the show is still garbage, but now I can see, how it could've potentially been made okay. You just needed to make it a character piece, Sieg travelling with Jeanne, plus a proper, oldschool, horror-focused Holy Grail War as the background. Except that's my wishful thinking and what we got is still the weakest and most needlessly confusing, PG 13 war in history. Oh joy. |

| I actually liked the way A-1 changed the Jeanne/Sieg and Jeanne/Blacks first interaction. It makes more sense now. Also, it was great that the episode didn't feel rushed compared to the previous one The start of Jeann'e internal monologue in the end was definitely one of the best and most impactful moments in the episode. I wonder how A-1 manages to screw up certain scenes, but makes some other things great at the same time. |

| Probably the best episode so far even though I still have some problems with some characters (Astlofo is still annoying as hell for example) and Jeanne being voiced by Maaya Sakamoto is maybe way too soft (I know it was for the purpose but still). Can't really grasp my head around what they wan't to do with that "love story" though. Well, we are still not quite there but at least this episode was bit of an improvement. |

| Jeanne became such a waifu this episode... Anyways, I was kind of hoping he'll survive but I didn't like how they killed off siegfried for this guy. I really don't like Shirou Kotomine. Overall I really like the black faction over the red. Or maybe because they concentrate them more. But I think it is because I like Vlad. The OP is kinda like Another(I think I mentioned this before) and the ending sounded a bit similar to Asura Cryin' for some reason. Maybe same people |
