LOL. Yeah, this felt very slow and sorta unnecessary. Maybe if we got the story from Kou's point of view, like above posters said, it'd be a bit more refreshing.

It wasn't bad but it really felt like recap, there was literally nothing we didn't know from main season.
Everything was already told in first episode (and better).

Why did they even did this?

This episode is full adaptation of prologue called "unwritten"
TV series just show few parts from that chapter.

Really, I wish they just put whole chapter "unwritten" and keep story like is in manga,
than showing few parts from "unwritten" into tv series.

If they wanted make OVA to manga volumes,
they could create original story just for OVA
just like they did with drama cd or awaken oneshots.

Quite lovely episode dedicated to their backstory which was really good! It's good that they've only shown glimpse in the main series to build up some more charter development and that they kept this focused episode as an OVA!

Let's see what the second ova will offer us!

That's exactly what I thought! I wanted to see at least something new but it felt like it was just a filler with the same information we had in the anime. I expected more from this OVA.

This was a back story of Futaba and Kou, and I must say it was cute yet sad. I still think Kou should've showed up, but I guess he thought she hated all guys including him, so in other words he misunderstood her.

Idk about you, but that just hit fucking hard. Like just sit there and mindlessly watch the credits roll hard. Maybe I’m just a sucker for some cheap tears. Or maybe I just didn’t know how much I missed this show.

One year later after watching the main series I’m finally watching these ovas which supposedly wrap it all up more nicely. Why did I wait so long lol
