| Some of the complaints I'm reading in this topic ARE answered. This is why you can't really judge a series like this until it's finished; plotholes end up being motives, fridge logic problems are explained in the next episode, etc. Problem with the anime though, is that some of the questions you have are answered relatively soon in the SN, while you have to wait weeks for them to be noticed in the anime. Of course, there are some other matters that don't have an answer in the SN yet, and that's more like years of waiting lol. I think it's possible DEEN will move EP3 ??? to what we would consider EP4 episodes, ending with the commercial cut. Dunno really... That scene seems kinda tacked on to EP3 in the novel to explain the readers something immediately so that they won't wait 6 months to learn it. |

| That's what I always thought too but all of them do look like they are really dead. Especially Rudolf. But I guess Battler probably didn't get a very good look at Hideyoshi so it's still possible that he was alive |
| More witch slaps? Man, this is awesome...are there any more coming in the later episodes? Well, this episode is pretty badass to the bone. Rudolf and Kyrie duo ftw. They're pretty darn awesome. Though how they were killed was anticlimactic. I mean, what the hell? And the witch slap from Hideyoshi was great. Things are really getting much better. Post-witch slapped Beatrice is pretty cute in a way. Battler's hand must have some powerful magic. |

| I'm glad that this ep seems to me the most faithful to the source. Kinda bummed that Rudolf's western duel with Belphegor was omitted (well, Silly Evatrice jumping in the middle of their duel). | Kyrie and Rudolf are pretty badass, but they're... kind of assholes a little bit. lol. And UGH, the new furniture girls or whatever that killed them had THE most annoying voices. Not really feeling this suddenly new Beatrice. It just seems so lame. But anything is better than Eva Beatrice. God how annoying. |

| This makes me think. Basically, what they've done is give us bad characters, and then dick us down with even worse characters so that the bad ones seem good by comparison. Virgilia might be the only exception. |

| What Ronove said is actually they were killed by another person ( homicide, with no indication on singular or plural). I wouldnt start making words-play out of fansub. Whether or not Eva was really in her room when maria was killed, I think that is not what one should count on. And if anyone survived, I would think it was Kyrie. I think she was shot and stabbd in the belly, while the other 2 are stab in the heart and head. Dont remember if anyone actually suggested to split, but Eva definitive went back to her room right before that. |

I don't think it was a Nico Nico reference but it was probably a reference to something Also Kyrie and Asumu are named after acolyte/priest skills from Ragnarok Online. Kyrie = Kyrie Eleison (damage barrier) Asumu = Assumptio (1/2 damage reduction) Casting Kyrie Eleison on top of Assumptio will cancel Assumptio out, and vice-versa. |

| Some people find it fun. I don't really get it, but that's the way it is. It's kind of like trying to guess what crazy thing Britney Spears is going to do next. There is a history of erratic behavior, she's so coo coo, and her fans are so adamant that anything is possible. |
| LOL the two of you made this series looks like shit. If I were to take Umineko and Higurashi very seriously, they are nothing more than a horrible anime. I am trying to be quiet as much as possible about this series. Well, as you know, it was made to enjoy it that way. So there is nothing can be done but to go along with it. |
