I really hope Marika got to kill Kallen somewhere down the line in the original universe. Kallen is really just a stand-in for the Japanese nationalists Taniguchi was trying to pander to with this season's offensively patriotic tone, totally glazing over all of the destruction the Japanese were responsible for at the end of season 1 so they could all go back to being helpless victims.

The Valkyrie Squadron could have been explored to see what life was like for them as child soldiers, but instead their very lives are glazed over like they're worthless. Poor Marika, thinking she was about to die a needless death while uttering her brother's name at the hands of a racist to revels in killing her kind. Kallen might as well have shouted "Asia for Asians!" as she divebombed the poor, defenseless girls. Luciano ironically would have become one of the greatest heroes in all of anime if he had been able to kill Lelouch. There was absolutely no planning for this series. In the end, it was all written to glorify a smug narcissist whose selfish nature mirrors that of his talentless hack of a creator.

Upon rewatching Code Geass 3 times including the recap movies, all the plot holes, dumb writing, plot conveniences & contrivances became more apparent.

The Highly praised ending Zero Requiem also makes no sense and feels contrived and forced to gain sympathy for Lelouch

10mins of pathos sequence and the grandiose opera soundtrack sadly can't fix all the plot holes, dumb writing and contrivances.
He could've kept the throne and made change happen differently. Even the upcoming sequels can't fix any of these.
These are irrefutable facts and the people who watched the show for the first time are blinded by the ending.
