| So you could say that she wanted the puss lol. Seriously tho, this was a beautiful episode and by far the best in the season (at least up there with the best episodes of Clannad). Misaes officially not just best girl now, but best character too. The story and characters were amazing, and even though it’s supposed to get even better in a bit, right now it’s at least a 9 with this masterpiece of an episode. P.s. these 2000s KyoAni character designs are really, really making me want to watch the rest of Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu |

If that's the case, the why not just talking with Misae using that method instead of having MC talking nonsense to a young woman during a festival? Overall, it was another mediocre arc. Misae and Shima's romantic relationship felt so forced, sudden and undeveloped I couldn't take it seriously. Honestly, I can't wait for the moment they all graduate since I guess the plot might become more interesting from there on. And by the way... man, people in 2008 sure were sensitive... |

| Damn I was about to cry there it's the same feeling that I have when Fuuko was about to go away. Anyway in my mind when Misae tells her love story in my mind I was already thinking that he was that cat and it turns out he was damn....best episode so far. |

| Beautiful episode, really. Legit cried at some parts & it happened all because of a cat! Man, this franchise seems to be really growing on me....and this is coming from someone who thought that the first Clannad was lacking in some parts & was just about fine. After Story surely has stepped up the quality big time. |

| Oh I get it, I get it, and it makes me sad but it's also heartwarming at the same time. Looks like Katsuki did his mission well, and just like they promised, he and Misae will stay with each other FoReVeR! Nice to see the appearances of Yoshino and Kouko back in the past...wait student and teacher became couple nAnI?! Also I love the cameo appearances in the festival, even Sagara is shown carrying his kid, that's a nice detail. And wow I can't help it but is Yukine a mafia leader? Like she has escorts full of gangsters, no wonder she's an untouchable force! Well we had a short arc, I wonder what's the next character to have an arc? (looks at the last sentence of the paragraph above) well whaddya look at that?!! |

| I'm not sure I fully understood everything. What I interpret is that Shima from the past is a ghost, he ultimately disappeared just like Fuko did, but since he is dead he couldn't reappear so instead he got reborn as a cat. But what goes against that is that he said the real Shima isn't him but someone who was close to him... I didn't get it. Either way, that was a quite beautiful episode, Shima was a truly endearing character and even if I still don't really get what's the point of having a Misae arc, I still liked it a lot. However, Misae saying she's gonna play a lot more with her cat now and that she's gonna have a second youth sounds very weird. Misae, don't you dare forget what you said about how you weren't planning on dating a cat. |

| What happened to Shima in the present? I am expecting Shima to say he doesn't know where his home is. Oh wow he died and this is his spirit? Another Fuko story. Nvm seems like Shima is a guy that made him a wish. He disappears when she goes to get a drink. Called it. Ok guess he just leaves. We are finally back with Tomoya. How long was he asleep? Bruh so he got a vision about Misae's past from a cat lmao. That was the most ridiculous thing ever. Almost as dumb as Kotomi's suitcase. Why couldn't he just come back in human form? Also what happened to Shima's wish? Did they just gloss over the fact that he was fulfilling some guy named Shima's wish. Why is there a Yoshino arc? I don't care about him, bro. I guess we can have a Yukine arc but then why is this called After Story? It feels more like Side Story at this point. Edit: Seems like Shima's wish was to fulfill Misae's wish lol. Alright that clears that up. I still can't get over the ridiculousness of the whole Tomoya getting a vision thing. |
