| I don't know if it's just me or the air in this basement but, my eyes water up at sad and beautiful moments like this and right when the tears are about to fall out, they dry up, AND IT TICKS ME OFF!!! Aside from that, this was a terrific episode and yet another beautiful arc! So, I assume Shima is the cat, and both there wishes are granted! They were so cute together! Time for the next episode! P.S. This episode forum heading says: "THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE." Does this mean we can discuss, lets say, the GAME beyond this episode? I like the idea that Katsuki Shima was able to spend time with the person that gave him hope in his bleak life, and I don't like the idea that Katsuki Shima was just watching from the clouds while his cat was the one getting the action. | People are crying way to fast haha, on every clannad episode thread I see countless of people spamming tears lol. Apart from all that, It's crazy how good of a side story it was based on just two episodes. |

| Just watched this tonight. This episode was considerably more interesting than the earlier ones and the first season episodes. I was wondering "where is Fuko?" all this time. It seems as if Shima is this season's 'Fuko'. The cleverness in this arc is that you just don't KNOW until the end, where the truth is subtly revealed. But it was odd why a mature adult like Misae was falling for this little boy. He couldn't have been but 11. A head-scratcher, but maybe there are some things about Japanese culture which I don't fully understand. Anyway, decent episode. I hope it continues to get more interesting from here on. |

| Wow. I have to admit that I loved this love story. The deep meaning behind and the slight touch of a transcendentalism captured me. Therefore, in the end of this episode, I was stunned. Sincerely beautiful. From the beginning (when Shima and Misae meet) until the revelation of how he got reborn as the young guy we saw and then finally grant Misaes wish. Therefore we can unterstand, why Misae likes this cat, though she mentioned in the episode she doesn't. Wow, I would never had dreamed in years who the cat of Misae really is. Stunning. Great arc. ;) Now I'm excited how it continues. |

| Another meh episode. Another episode full of awful melodrama. Ghost boy disappears because wouldn't that be sad? We don't need a reason, he's just gone because feelz. When does this show get good? It's hilarious that so far the best part of the show is the cat. Every frame without the cat is a waste. Of course, that's ruined now. |

| What the hell is this convoluted plot twist? So the cat's soul went into the dead boy or something for some reason? And it didn't know? This is more confusing and unintentionally hilarious than tragic, honestly. I found the plot twist to be so stupid XD. It just made me roll my eyes by the end. The fuck Key XD?! You and your plot twists. You always throw them at me in such a random ass way. I didn't find the episode to be sad at all. It's okay if you did, but I honestly found it to be one of the stupidest things to be honest. I really enjoyed the start of After Story with Sunohara. I really don't like the supernatural melodrama this show throws at us. Hopefully it gets better, and no more of that ridiculous stuff. |

| i just wanted to rewatch my favorite characters be happy again. I wanted a simple sense of serenity, but i underestimated how heart-wrenching these arc climaxes would feel again.  I JUST WANTED TO FEEL GOOD DAMMIT |
