Okay yeah Haikyuu!! knows how to hype us up every single week, oh my gosh this ep was super intense and that last half was amazing! The last play overall was probably my favorite moment in this season, and I loved Oikawa's strong development through the game, so I felt really bad for him, but I also felt overwhelmingly happy for Karasuno~
I really think that what Haikyuu!! does overwhelmingly well is just how it shows both sides of the game, it's not limited to your protagonists but also to the other team and you see both sides of the story, which really brings up the suspense and emotions felt during the games.

Overall just an amazing episode, definitely a masterpiece

have you found the limit of your abilites ? even though your technique, body and mentality aren't complete ? people who are naturally better than you have been different from you ever since they were born. it's impossible to turn that around, no matter how hard you work, how well you strategize, or who your teammates are. you can complain about that once you've actually done everything you possibly can. rather than despairing and giving up because you're not a genius, believe that your strength is not limited to this, and to continue on the path straight ahead of you. it may be harsh to say so but today might be the day to grasp the chance to let your talent bloom.

that right there just straight up a beautiful message delivered by this episode. i'd save that as a quotation if it were a bit shorter, however shortening it will also reduce some of it's beautiness so i'll let it stay untouched as it is.

Best episode this anime ever produce.

Hinata finally did it with last shot. Kageyama, Yamaguchi, Tsukki, Captain, Ryu, Nishoya, Sugo, Asahi and the others played greatly. Last moments was so intense i just froze where i sit. It was Great.

Oikawa, Mad Dog and others played really good. They team was spectacular. It's sad actually because there are no evil in this anime. All of them work hard. Especially Oikawa.

1 ep left. Gonna give this 8/10 (first was 9 because it' just amazing for many episode) i loved it.

I thought that this episode was great. I cried and I can't believe that Aoba Johsai lost, because I was cheering for them. I don't care what others think, Oikawa is a precious baby. Did anyone notice the fact that Oikawa got up on his bad knee after he did the long-distance serve? That just made me even more depressed. I really hate the fact that Kageyama is called a "genius" and maybe that's true. It probably is, but in my eyes, Oikawa is much more talented. Best setter!!

IM IN PAIN AFTER OIKAWA'S FLASHBACKS

yeah, that's what made me remember that oikawa noticed tobio's talent last year (or season) and how he knew that he would beat him eventually. after that flashback oikawa was still going to give it his all but was a lot calmer after that. i really liked that.

Probably one of the best episodes of the entire series. The final point was the most intense scene we've seen in Haikyuu, at least in my opinion. The music was extremely good, and I love how they handled Seijou's loss in comparison to the manga.

I knew what was coming, but dammit, I still cried my eyes out. And as proud as I am of Karasuno, I can't help feeling bitter about this, because Seijou is my favorite team and Oikawa is my favorite character. Karasuno deserved to win, but Seijou definitely didn't deserve to lose (I'm so conflicted about this series, I swear, why are all the teams so loveable?), especially considering that Oikawa and the rest of the third years will never get to achieve their goal which was to defeat Shriatorizawa, and more secifically Ushiwaka (at least for Tooru).

Still, I'm so proud of my favorite team, and I absolutely adore everything about Oikawa in this episode (in the manga this was approximately the moment he became my favorite character), he is without a doubt the most complex, well-written and relatable character in this series and I'm so happy that we get to see his depth and his development (the flashbacks literally tore my heart out of my chest).

This episode was so so so good and this show is amazing! Next week we get more tears for the finale!!

THANK YOU FINALLY SOMEONE WHO FEELS THE SAME. I 100% AGREE.

oikawa could see everything.

he could see every trick, effort, and play karasuno did, but the one thing that was holding him back was one thing - himself. it was hard to see, it was difficult to take, but he knew it was coming.

and the fact that he could see everything, even though he lost, is enough for me. he wasn't taken as a fool or bewildered: "WTF WE LOST", and that is why he still remains my favorite character.

that besides:

THIS WAS SO FREAKING AWESOME.

THAT HAND POINT LIKE YOU KNOW WHEN A BRO GONNA BACK YOU UP LIKE

AND THIS ANIMATION WAS JUST UNBELIEVABLE

This episode was freaking intense. I kinda expected Karasuno to win, but how can they make it so epic I felt like I'm going to have a heart attack I cAN'T EVEN--

I feel bad for Seijoh though, especially Oikawa because he's one of my favorite characters.

Next episode is going to be the last one. I wonder what Oikawa will say to Kageyama. I'm looking forward to Karasuno vs Shiratorizawa next season!

I nearly shredded my jacket under the sheer intensity of this episode.
I'm sweating so bad, you'd think it was me on the court lmao

Really beautiful episode though, and ofc I was routing for Karasuno all along. Heck, anyone who didn't watch Haikyuu as it was airing knew what was gonna happen regardless...the 3rd season's title is literally a huge spoiler -_-

However, despite that, this match was still the most engaging yet.
Also can't deny that the moment when Oikawa pointed at Iwaizumi and said that "talent is something you make bloom. Instinct is something you polish", I honestly wanted Seijoh to take the win.
Oikawa is basically the poster boy for living with limitation, but it's amazing that he can still stand on the court with geniuses like Kageyama and Ushijima despite that still a bit salty he lost to both of them but hey, their teams are strong to boot

Also loved the parallels to the match in s1, and it was only fitting Hinata delivered the finishing blow after that crushing defeat last time.
It's just one of those matches where I would've been dejected no matter who lost...I mean you can never call it when these guys play against each other.

wow. Very amazing episode. The Aoba jousai and karasuno make a great game.
Very good evolution of all players. Kyoutani make a good points. Hinata stay more closest to Small Giant. The teamwork of karasuno so very fantastic. Asahi san and Ryu Tanaka make good cut's. I loved final this arc. Finally Karasuno win's of aoba. The final is the next challenge.

Man, that last point was so awesome, throwing yourself into benches, barely getting any touches, hitting it with their foreheads ... so cool seeing it :D

So I guess it's safe to assume they're going to fight against Shiratorizawa in a new season since we only have 1 episode left.

Soooo glad he finally got a spike in, and super happy that Kageyama kept giving him tosses over and over!

Man, I never thought I would ever get this hyped over a sports anime. This is my first sports anime, and I always thought I wouldn't like them, because I don't like watching (or playing) team sports in real life either. But goddamn, did this anime prove me wrong. "Tobio's genius like qualities don't lie in his technique but rather how stupid he is. Where others would probably hold out he goes straight for it". This line was one of my favorite parts of the episode. It's both where he's good and bad but luckily he has Hinata on his side. Even without Hinata though I know a friend who plays like that too. It's totally a great descriptor of such a dweeb.

Daichi's been such a great defense and moral support. I'm going to miss him the most out of the seniors unless the final set makes me feel different. It's really sad how Asahi hasn't had nearly anything going on character-wise other than his service ace's he worked on. Him overcoming his weakness with Noya by his side "SUGAAAAA MOI KAI", and the way he beat his demon Dateko with that foot save by Noya keeping the ball in the game for him has to be one of my favorite parts of the entire series. I miss it and I'm sad I hardly feel anything for Asahi with how much of a background character he's become.

Seijoh really showed how hard they work this episode. Iwa had some of the coolest saves and spikes any character has had period. Oikawa showed how hard he's worked to polish his instincts and bloom his talent this whole time.

But........ the highlights were obviously when Kageyama feinted and stared down into Oikawa's destroyed eyes on the ground just like Bokuto described all that time ago. Like he's symbolically saying "You are below me now". And, the final shot where Oikawa knew it was coming and still couldn't stop their ultimate weapon. Their final words should be intense.

To be totally honest I got bored and fast forwarded around 17 mins to 19 mins before going back to normal. Seijoh sets always go a little on the long side without enough going on for me, this was way better than last though!
