At the start of episode, we heard Ains concealing from his followers the fact, that he intends allow civilians to escape. Now, after how nobles treated their prince he seems to think, that this country is past redemption. Does he still intends to at least spare the innocents? |

| Damn! This episode was so good! Seeing the king of the Empire(?) and how genuine and noble he actually was, was actually really nice. It is a shame they killed him, but those guys are definitely screwed with the Neuronist haha. Love Ains, love this show, love it all. Shalltear best girl. |

| Zanac death proved why their nation was doomed to fall. Ains is rotten and so are his devils, but the humans proved worse by killing their own last king. As usually it's the innocent civies that suffer most though. |

His sis did him dirty.. RIP Last 5 minutes had me checking the runtime to see how much awesomeness I had left.. These episodes are far too short man. One of if not the best episodes of the entire series. so far. Only 3 left.. F_ck. Gonna go watch those last 10 minutes again GOD DAMN those last three minutes. None of the voices fall flat.. Watching ep 8 dubbed today and I actually hated Hilma's voice by comparison, I really wish they'd take inspiration from the original voice actors. If you're gonna be a VA at least put some f'in effort into it. |

| There was a lot of space for negotiations, but Ainz wants to bring happiness to his underlings by obliberating the other kingdom. I don't know when having the upper hand from the beginning it's cruel not to accept the opponents surrender. It leaves a bad taste even when you don't know about other historic events. Prince Zanac was shining in this episode, like never before. I always thought he was a chubby idiot, but apparently he tried his best. I never expected the nobles to behead him instantly. They expected Ainz would treat them fairly. Nope! I was surprised by Ainz reaction about this, like if he felt pity for the prince, he wanted to murder later. Then he totally lost interest in the battle and left the task to the others, I feel bad for the normal citizens about the coming massacre if it can be called that at all. Princess Renner should be next in line, but what will she do? wasn't she already a traitor? |

| I must say that these last few episodes have made me like Zanac more than before. I thought he was a bit out of his depth at first, but you can't fault him at all for what he's done up until now. His negotiation with Ainz didn't go as well as he hoped, but he was able to see how human Ainz was with his own goals and aspirations to find happiness for his kingdom. They both respected each other even as the battle would be inevitable. Sadly, Zanac's own soldiers turned against them and despite his brave last stand, he was killed off by the cowardly group, who offered Ainz the head of Zanac in order to join his side. Fittingly and deservedly, Ainz sent all of them to the Neuronist, where they'll suffer a slow and torturous death fitting of the cowards that they are. I look forward to seeing how this battle will unfold. I want annihilation, lots of it... |
| I really liked Prince Zanac.. even though he had too many scenes to much of my annoyance. What a way to go for him though.. by his own men. Ainz must be really pissed! Other scenes like the Blue Rose meeting didn't really seem to matter much, but we got to see the faces of some newcomers.. one who seems to be the mecha guy from previous ep. I really hope shit hits the fan next episode.. and we get some action though. Felt like there's never enough of that when it comes to Ainz and friends. Show us some bloody murder! (preferably with as little CGI as possible..) |

| Love how the MC is going through this whole discovery phase of forging their own path while everything around them and what we thought was normal come completely flipped with the MC's new declaration. |

| that's probably one of few humans who truly seen Ainz as he really is and he got killed in less than 5 minutes, Ainz really had reasons to be upset |
