I have the first volume myself, so i don't use sites to read, but I know that Jnovels has many light novels and if I remember correctly COTE is one of them.

10 episode is the only episode of all that is even slightly similar to what actually happened, without obvious distortions of the plot.

Good episode, primarily because of that scene at the end. As for his dad's scene, I feel like the V.A. doesn't do the character enough justice in terms of making him feel intimidating.

Ayanokouji's backstory is pretty much all I wanna see from this show ngl. Although seeing the way he shapes the other characters is the only other interesting part of this show. I just wish a studio with more budget adapted this story it seems to have lots of potential. They could have used Ayanokouji's lack of feeling an expression to create way more suspense, which would have made this show more interesting

I thought it's gonna be a Ryuen and Ayanokoji showdown already... Guess it's not yet. Chabashira-sensei's true objective was also shown which made Ayanokoji withdrew in the race for class A. I wonder if that's true or just another of his plans...

We finally get to see some sort of background to Kiyotaka's backstory! Kiyotaka's father shows up at the end of the episode but he looks nothing like that white-haired individual that we see Kiyotaka standing next to in this season's intro. However, we do get to meet this person and it's revealed to us that that is Sakayanagi's father, a student leader in Class 1A, and it just so happens he is a chairman for the school.

We find out the Kiyotaka somehow escaped Ayanokoji's "White Room" to enroll into the school, but how he even got into the school was still a mystery until Sakayanagi reveals his interest in Kiyotaka. Our MC is then allowed to stay at the school under Sakayangi's protection.

Although this is a bonus as viewers and fans of the series, it is revealed that Chabashira was using Kiyotaka for her own desire to reach Class 1A. Kiyotaka then says that his interest for reaching Class 1A has dissipated and he no longer will try to reach the higher classes. He then calls Karuizawa for the last time and the episode ends.

Kiyotaka's feelings have definitely been hurt in this episode, eventhough he may not show it in his emotions. He's showing it in his actions, but it's also the most logical move for him at this point in time. Kiyotaka has revealed his skills too much, to the point where other classes are starting to notice that there is a single mastermind pulling the strings for Class D. The idea is for the whole class to rise through the ranks together and the class can not do that if there's one individual who stands out. At this time, it's up to the rest of the class to show their worth, while Kiyotaka starts to get to do what he's been wanting to do this whole time, which is to protect his comrades from the shadows.
