| Well, this is my first rewatch after over one and a half year and I'm very excited about it. I'm pretty sure it will hit right in the feels again just like the first time I saw this beautiful anime. As always, the music is just amazing. |

I guess "Welcome to the AT-X" didn't have the same ring to it. "I don't need you to tell me what I need to do. I know what I need to do." Scarily relatable. The missionary girl has a part-time job in a manga cafe of all places? And then he fantasizes about her touching herself...that scene was only a few seconds yet hotter than most ecchi anime. |

| It was a fun ep!! Loved it! Now for my rant: Watched it with a friend who has only watched few kiddie animes. So in the end she says that the episode and the whole story is stupid. After just one episode she judged the whole story and says its stupid. I say its probably because u don't get anime themes and N.E.E.T in general. And shes like no i do know it, i did understand it and its no good. ಠ益ಠ) |

| I put off watching this for a while, but after seeing it among favorites of many people that seem to share my taste, I finally gave it a chance. And boy, this first episode rocks! I like the weirdness factor, and the main character is pretty funny. I can already see that I will become emotionally invested in his well-being. The OP and ED were amazing, and I like the plain character designs. Overall it's off to a strong start! |

| Crazy good OP, obviously heard it loads of times before due to the popularity of the show but it worked well to offset the somewhat melancholy and surreal hikikimori scenario. The ED I wasn’t expecting which made it even more poignant. Overall thought this episode was pretty solid, I’m drawn to mc’s plight and while I feel like it’s not going to be a very happy story I’m interested to see where it goes. His senpai or kouhai he was trying to impress by intervening in the fight seems like someone important. Tentatively looking forward to this series, 4/5. |

| This was a good start, I can see the potential with the main character and his future development. Also I get that his neighbor is an otaku, but even otaku would go crazy if they had to listen to that song over and over and over again. |

| rewatched it. funny how the "conspiracy" 10 years ago can now easily be identified as "gynocentrism". this is a timeless anime. |

| The OP is bright, colourful and cheerful but the way the vocals are sung and the lyrics, quite melancholic. Same goes for the ED, although more humorous, it gave quite the mood. ABABABABABA! This show already set a nice into of the MC, Sato, a NEET and hikikomori. Wasting his youthful life away for almost 44 years/ And the supposed god's servant, the saviour; Misaki. I kinda not like her for shoving the fact that Sato is a NEET and hikikomori at his face like that at the end, but well let's just see... |

| This anime looks fun and original. I hope it will treat the problem of hikikomori in a realistic way. That girl was cute, but I hope it won't end with a cliche of "young man with ment problems gets all well and healthy because of love" or that kind of unrealistic stuff. Oh, and that "pururin" song was excellent. ;D |

| This was such a weird ass start to a show, it felt weird watching a 2006 show in 2020, their is a certain dazzle missing from the proceedings that i'm used to in the newer shows. Are they going for an anti NEET message here? that was the undertone i was getting. |

| I remember dropping this anime after episode 5, but I've decided to give it another shot. The start is weak. but based on the comments, I'm assuming many people like this show because the protagonist is relatable to them. As an anti-social person who lives alone, is unemployed, and has no friends, I can empathise with Satou. However, through self-acceptance, I have already overcome my negative thoughts about the direction of my life. But just because he reminds me of my younger self, I won't be swayed by self-insertion or the poorly presented social commentary, and will instead judge this more critically. Why is it so bad? because it's direct rather than subtle, yes, the theme is about neets and anti-socialism, but they talk about and present these themes so directly that it feels like you're watching a social commentary documentary. Satou, on the other hand, is annoying and immature; his sexual fantasies were merely an excuse for fanservice; and the episode spends far too much time on seemingly pointless imaginations, with the exception of the intro, where Misaki appears in Satou's dream, implying that Satou already knows Misaki but forgot her, but his memory of her remained within his subconscious. I'm not sure if this will be a plot-driven or character-driven anime; nothing much happened in terms of plot, so it could be about the main character's internal struggle, which I'm not hoping for. 1/5 Really bad start. As for those who are upset about the anime because Satou doesn't relate to them, just shut up lol. |
