| Incredible episode with a mind blowing end. Yuuko's explanation was astonishing, I think that SHAFT goes one step further in its visual style. Simply wonderful, although in a very sad way. I'm enjoying melodies a lot. Six episodes per day, so I think that I will finish tomorrow. Will it be better than my beloved memories? |
| That was...intense to say the least. I don't know whether or not to feel bad for Yuuko or feel disturbed by the abstractions that SHAFT used to portray this moment. I'm still uncomfortable with the way the show is presented, though it worked for this episode. I'll see whether or not it will continue to, though. |

| Jesus Christ on a bike, that was an episode.. Pure innocent little Yuuko was actually subjected to such savagery. Honestly I thought it was that she had a prosthetic arm.. but I realised later in the episode before it got to the end that the line going up the side of her hand was just a glove.. xD The end was kinda spooky.. though I kinda lol'ed when Yu screamed "NOOO" because it lasted a second and the vid just cut off during the scream :p |

| I really rushed into this season expecting it to be at least as good as the previous one. Hysteria related to emotions, as displayed in Season 1, is intense, interesting, and understandable. THIS, however, was terrible. Call child services please, ffs. Nobody was obliged to protect her other than herself, which she obviously didn't even attempt to do. Typical, manipulative female foul play, playing the victim. *** Clarification: if it's going to be realistic, then at least make it a realistic episode in all possible aspects, instead of relying on shock value. |

| Well, finally something's happening! I was expecting this, although I thought she was cutting herself, not being constantly sliced up by her adoptive brother. I think I would prefer that, actually. It would get across that her problems are internally rooted. As is it, why doesn't whitehair just call the police? Cutting up your adoptive sister every night is a crime. So it's a bit of a drama bomb, but I liked the execution. I especially like that whitehair has already come out with the romantic, idealistic response and had it totally dismissed. So there won't be an easy solution, like the ending of the amnesia story from the first series. Also a somewhat mixed bag was the scene with big-boobs artist. I like that she seems to have processed her feelings without it being another drama bomb like what littered the end of the first series, but she's had so little screentime I also can't really buy that she's supposed to be very sad about the whole thing. |
| Oh man...to hear someone so calm and cool like Yuu project a scream of such pure horror. 5/5 I like how they used the same trick as the first season where the girl pours her heart out and tells the guy what kind of person she really is. Hiro was able to comfort Miyako while Yu's attempt only fuels Yuuko's fire |

| I didn't really care about Nagi that much, but this ending really touched me. What a sad story and the way this was animated made it even worse. I wonder if Yuu will comfort her or if he'll do something else. His scream in the end made me wonder. Next episode will probably be about Mizuki, I'm looking forward to it. |

| The shock of this episode had me delay my post for a while. Actually marathon-ed the whole series afterwards. To really some it up, The mind-f*k was flawless, in a sense. Had me quite stunned and baffled for a moment. Perfect Episode in my opinion. Made me really appreciative knowing I started watching Ef. |

| This show is getting really trippy. I know both this and A Tale of Memories have the genre psychological, but there was hardly any of that in the first season. If A Tale of Memories is psychological, than this is psychological x6. |

| i can't fully describe the feeling but i known something similar i think i know answer it's refraction of her inner world how she understands world in whole (i have seen dark side of it pain,abuse,suffering,loneliness and other far most worst things able to experience and feel) episode gives me a small heart beat speed up remind my own story i understand it all i can say it is art to show darkness inside your soul and present it light. |

I mean I had suspected that something was up, like Amamiya and the girls bullying Yuuko together (as in he lets them bully his sister and makes sure they don't get in trouble), but this... this is terrible. I hope the reason future Yuu is depressed is because he killed that bastard. |

| jesus christ; Yuuko's VA did a extraordinary job during the ending scenes. just beautiful execution overall. to think Himura went through such a thing, it's really does explain his personality/words during season 1 (tale of memories) no way, the kuzo/mizuki storyline is gonna come close to this in terms of impact. |
