| WOW... literally an epic episode, what a way to start the second season. Oh and I really loved the new opening... btw the bgm used @ the end before the title of the ep. appeared is just simply epic. |

But as a character, he has such an important role in the story that it's not only permissible to accept his psychopathy, but encouraged to accept it. To me, I like(d) Ryuunosuke because he's a villain who is more chaotic neutral than he is evil -- he views life and death in a way that even typical villains don't and winds up being the happiest guy in the show as a result. |

For me, Ryuunosuke was just plain boring and his role in this seemed more like a filler than anything else; (before anyone say any bullshit about it not being filler, I know it isn't. It just seemed like it was). My "misguided perception of morality" (LOL did I really read that?) has nothing to do with liking him or not. Anyway. Headshot was nice, I just love headshots. The OP is bizarre. It really doesn't flow well with the song. The ED is just slideshow, kinda boring but ok. Highlight of the episode for me was Gil VS Berserker. |
| Whoah, i missed this show so much. First off, it's so clearly visible how Gilgamesh is a lot stronger of a character than in F/SN. More charismatic, refined and just very king-like. Tokiomi is more of a servant in their relationship, which wasn't the case with Gil's master in F/SN at all. It pains me Ryuunosuke had to die, i didn't believe he'd live much longer but it's still sad. I wished to hear more of Ishida Akira's obvessive laughs and screams. It's great to finally see Kariya and Berserker, i was just waiting for their next appearance. Kariya's such a good guy that it's awesome to see him being consumed by crest worms more and more. As for Berserker, i was kinda spoiled on his indetity as a hero. I can't wait for when it'll be revealed. tl;dr Awesome episode, especially after one season of break. Looking forward to everything this show has to offer. |

He colors the tone and atmosphere of the show and foreshadows pretty much all the major themes that have yet to come. Saying he's "filler" or "boring" is fucking stupid, as he is neither. |

| I usually hate tons of CG in anime, but Fate/Zero makes an exception. Like everyone else i loved the Berserker/Gilgamesh fight, and DAT RYUNOSUKE :D I love Caster when he says COOL :) OP=I love Kalafina ED=Good, but more slideshows?? |

| Good episode as a #14, which is what I was expecting anyway. Berserker is awesome. I feel he doesn't have enough fans. He's still my favorite. I didn't like OP as an OP; seemed more like an ED. |
| First off, new OP was beautiful, though the ED was slightly lacking. Clearly those Blu-ray sales had a great affect, as this episode was some of the highest quality I've seen coming from the show. First episode and all, to grab the audience's attention, I know, but I can definitely see them keeping up the quality. Let's hope so, anyway. LOL'd hard at Gilgamesh's UFO. The entire fight with Berserker was gorgeously animated. Really, an amazing start to the new season all around. In contrast to the first season's deliberate and very informative(not that this was a problem) opener, it was action-packed from the start. Even more so, the stakes have been raised considerably; only the first episode, and already a master is dead. So long, Ryunosuke. You were an interesting person, I'll give you that. Glad it's back. Easily the best first episode of the season, along with Lupin III. |

| Oh, God. Finally! :') Just before anything I wanna say, ama~zing graphics! Berserker. WTF. Man, that's just... he fucking used that jet as a noble phantasm. The whole fight with Gilgamesh had me stuck to the screen. By the way, Gilgamesh cracks me up. The way he talks, especially about berserker, is...lol. I feel so bad for Kariya. His will to save Sakura even with all the shit he had to put up with and now he is finally fighting against the father. Before, I was looking forward to see Tokiomi's fighting (just because he uses fire) but now I'm so irritated about the way he talks about his daughters and magic. I would root for Kariya to beat the shit out of him if not for... anyway. Ryuunosuke was a complete psycho till the end. I can't wait for the next week. From the preview, It looks like Saber is gonna use her sword to the full power. But after Kiritsugu saying that she cannot use it withLancer's curse and at the end Lancer saying that he trusts Saber... Just what's gonna happen... |

| Lovely opening, both visually and musically, even though there wasn't any fighting in it (as if we won't get enough of that in the 2nd season anyway). Full of foreshadowing of dark things to come... ;_; As for the episode itself; simply awesome with Vimana and Berserker's F15. I can't get enough of Gilgamesh's arrogant attitude and him discussing gardening with Tokiomi was hilarious. I'm on the fence with the whole Tokiomi giving his daughter to the Matou family deal. I guess his intentions were good and I doubt he knew what would happen to Sakura, but ultimately he takes the magic stuff way to seriously and fails as a father... I thought the ending was fairly nice, portraying the events of the drama CD. The song is good, however, visually I did feel it left something to be desired content-wise, since it only focused on Kiritsugu and Irisviel and not on any of the other characters. This whole episode was simply great and extremely entertaining like all other episodes have been. It certainly didn't disappoint me and I'll be looking forward to watching this every weekend again. Besides pretty much everything he pointed out in his reply relates to serial killing whereas I already said fictional serial killers don't bother me much anyway and there are also people, like me, who are willing to overlook accept that part of his character. Or there's Hakuromatsu's post since apparently I wasn't specific enough. Really, I just didn't think it was necessary to discuss that any further. I would've ended up repeating myself like just now. |
