| I just read a Gilles de Rais bio. What the fuck. He was so fucked up. I didn't get that sense from him at all in this show. I forgot he was in Fate Zero too and killed children. |
| The whole episode was action all throughout and I kinda missed the weird comedy scenes for a bit lol A Feudal Lord's smile can be the same for both life and death, oh my. He definitely used the stone wall charms to his advantage while Nobunaga got easy pickings on the failed cavalry. Joan finally got her eternal flame dampened and her suffering reduced so I hope she won't turn her back on the Drifters again. Gille gave a lot of trouble to Yoichi but those Drifters outta nowhere minigunned that fool like what Alucard normally deals with. He turned into the salt of the earth. I wonder why. So the magic master is a Drifter, wow~ |

| It's as I suspected, very Hellsing-esque, loads of grinning, characters are as flat as cardboard. Just a few more episodes, better than dropping now. |

| No awful comedy in this episode.. Guess what ? It was the best episode. Though I had some minor issues with the directing and the storyboarding of some of the fight scenes I must say that this was entertaining. Animation was nothing astonishing but it was good enough. The character designs and the art is just really unique and enjoyable to watch. |
| The horizontal wall growing out of the first wall was a pretty fun idea. It's lucky they still had that minigun because it would have been hard to take down Gilles with anything less. But I think they are going to regret that Jeanne survived. |

| Joan of Arc was just incredible, so many epic battles in this episode, and that end "Abeno Haruakira" well this character is going to be very interesting I guess |

| It’s by far the least boring episode, and Jeanne and Gilles have the best backstory so far |

| The enemies can/have powers yet our MCs are still overwhelming them with strategy and tactics. Also reinforcement and technology. |
