| This has to be one of the best ep so far, the new OP is amazing though I wonder just how much of that will actually be included in what is to come. Kagari being talk active feels so odd since she barely speaks but well atleast I can see the direction they want to take with this, here is to hoping the net 5 ep will live up to this one. |

Everyone was expecting new stuff in the anime and in the end they just put things that already happened in Harvest Festa, plus some stuff of the original VN with only a few changes here and there, well otherwise it was good, though those spoilers in the new OP, for only anime viewers it'd be best to not watch it, and some of them seems to spoil the actual new route since it didn't happen in the VN Also it seems they changed the seiyuu of Suzaki, he didn't have that voice in the VN. |

| For those who have no idea wats going on just watch AH Brandon rewrite reviews this guys anime only and is loving it, if u guys actually pay some attention u will understand he explains wat he predicts and wat is accually happening, this guy is actually understanding these hints they are giving. |

Great episode, debating with myself if this or ep6 is my favourite. I don't think that the OP spoils much, much like someone else said: without context it does not spoil anything and only if you go look for the hints you can go as far as theorycrafting. My take on Kagari changing: at first, the rock only brought her amnesia. She knew she had to find her true self and her task. She approached Kotarou, still weakened and staggering, only saying a little. He realizes she seems not to be an actual ghost after she collapses, and possibly puts her in some bed our couch in his house. He leaves for school the next day, while Kagari wakes up. Being a curious girl and knowing she seeks something, she totally looked in his house for information (and made a total mess), finding some magazines, books and probably the TV, already adapting her personality to what she learns. After the next night, she gets exposed to the internet which..well, made her new personality even more...interesting. Thai777 said: Smudy said: So what was anime original here? | Well, I haven't read the VN and, for the words of the ones who have read it, it seems the Kagari of the anime is something the studio made, but I actually found the new her very cute. Love her arrogant, yet adorable personality (and her VA :) ) Also, I didn't had any problem with her voice. It portray well her snarky personality. Inoue is well, but has her memories lost. It seems she also recorded the creatures and members of Gaia during her investigations. I wonder what path will take the story now. The new OP (who is very cool) shows a big battle and in this episode Shizuru and Lucia defeated what looked like an important creature and both Gaia/Martel and Guardian are preparing themselves for the final fight. I doubt we will have a second season looking that they introduced the new OP during this cour, so I guess things would be finished by the next 5 episodes. I hope it doesn't ends rushed. But, considering they tried to adapt a VN into 13 episodes, well... The meteorite hitting Kagari at the beginning was pretty random, tbh. |

| On the whole, I like the direction where it's going. The production values aren't getting any better, but I'm more or less used to them at this point. While I was initially sceptical of the whole original route idea, I now see it as a reasonable compromise (not that it was possible to adapt the original routes while keeping the narrative cohesive). It's also a nice chance to peek at Harvest Festa Kagari (by the way, really like this version of her) since the original was never translated from moonspeak. |

| Amusing to see Kagari's personality to a complete 180 thanks to take tiny chunk of meteorite, although their might be more to it than that though... Either way, her new personality is epic and her interactions with Koutarou was hilarious. Plus, she whooped Yoshino in a fight when she appeared at the school and also likes cheap nasty coffee, or as she says it feecof. XD It's nice to see that Inoue is okay and good timing it was when she gave her USB stick to Koutarou, which confirms the forest to be filled with more monsters than the ones which we saw last week. The new OP and ED songs surprised me since I'm used to have one of each for a one-cour show, but the songs itself are very good. A good episode overall and although 8-bit is doing alright on the production values front, the show would benefit more if it was taken on by P.A. Works, Kyoani or even ufotable... |

I don't think she really transferred as much as it is her just walking right into the school. She's not really going to classes, so she obviously did not transfer. |
| Looks like the managed to finish the common route and are now going along the girls routes Question is which girl are they going along with Still this episode was pretty good and pretty hillarious as well thanks to Kagari chan. Kana Hanazawa truly shines here and portrays Kagari pretty well. The plot thickens with the occult club president being even more mysterious than i thought |

| Kagari learned well when it came to using the Internets. Her sudden new personality is pretty enjoyable. Senri reunites with her laptop lol. Even I'm like that when I get home from work. Laptop I'm back, let's play FPS. I'm surprised she's not using a fan, poor laptop must be burning hot. I feel bad for Inoue, she ends up having a memory loss and I guess forced to change schools. Fight scene looked cool. Shizuru's outfit so bold, I like how she's all boss and being flashy with her guns. |

| Well the production values are getting worse instead of better it seems.. Glad they're finally on the original route, although too few episodes left now unless there's a 2nd season. Is it just me or does it look like they were too lazy to draw Shimako's full arms so they just joined them to Chihaya's arms?   |

Episode 8 was outsourced to another studio with bunch of Korean animators. its by far the worst looking episode, it had shit tons of derps, not sure if they can fix all of that in the BDs |

Episodes 4, 6 and 8 were produced outside of 8-Bit Eps 4 and 6 looked fine but 8 looked like shit since they probably just threw it to anyone so they can finish it on time, they don't have the time to care about quality, and who's fault is this? Aniplex and Key that gave them the "okay" Since they are the big head of this show, they are the ones who decide when the show will be released, and they don't care about how tight the schedule is for the animators. |

While I do agree that they could have used "Holy Women" instead of "Gaia Saint", it's not really that surprising from Crunchyroll to change the original names. I mean, look at JoJo Part 4 for instance as a recent example, that series is changing shit ton of the stands names from the original, some of them even sound very stupid compared to its original translated names. You get where I'm going at? Though this is not really surprising for me in all honesty. But CR changed the names for Jojo because of potential copyright issues. David Production may have the rights to use those names of bands, artists, and whatnot, but CR does not, so they have to modify them or else they could have a potential lawsuit (you'd be surprised on how picky the classic rock industry can be with their IP; look no further than Led Zeppelin). At least you can still hear it said right in the audio. But ya, they do this a lot in series: change already established terms and names for really no good reason at all. My only guess is that the people translating aren't familiar with the original sources and don't bother to do any research or they simply think their term is better. Either way, it can be a bit infuriating and it never seems to get resolved. It's pretty minor, but it can be annoying for sure. |

| I like how there was like this dramatic space intro with an asteroid coming to doom the earth and omg it's getting closer and... jk it burned up; just a pebble to hit her on the head. I have to admit this progression and direction is clumsy, but the chain of slow revelations bit by bit is a lot of fun, as the world slowly unfolds. |

| The ghost girl got nailed by a rock while feeling herself... wow. And she spoke. So much progress was made in just five and a half minutes. Kagari also manages to become totally corrupted by who knows what she found on the internet. I like her, shes fun and strange, this episode was also pretty fun and strange considering what happened with all the other girls in the previous episode, but whatever. The glimpse at what said girls were doing came really freaking suddenly, and I really didn't care about any of it at all. But OH WELL, still look forward to what happens next... kind of. |

Precisely why I hate character design in Rewrite, excluding Kotarou, Yoshino and Esaka. Key's key artist is just... lazy, is the best way I'd put it. If you look at certain CGs you can clearly see the anatomical errors, they're absolutely jarring. Then I tried playing Little Busters... Dear fucking god. |
| Fuck me. Engagement level over 9000. So yeah, really intrigued by where things are going despite my previous misgivings, but still worried about the episode count (here's hoping for split cour). In regards to Kagari: (1) It feels like they should've explained why sucks on Tennouji's arm at the very least by this point. Like, now that she's finally speaking, why would he not be asking her a bunch of questions? About that, why she tried to kill him, etc. (2) On that note, why is only NOW starting to speak? (3) Very curious about her significance to the plot and what kind of being she is. |
