I can't believe I am writing an episode discussion for Gintama season 1 in the year of 2023. Overall, great and funny episode as usually.

The story of a convicted father who wants to see her daughter's first idol live performance. Although we have seen the similar plot in other anime and manga nowadays , the fact that this came out in 2006 is really impressive. It managed to balance the comedy aspect and serious plot of a broken family. This might be ridiculous but this is episode hit me way harder than the first( 1 and half hour long) episode of Oshi no Ko.

so far it's under construction in terms of main characters, I don't have much to say about it, it's just a little slow, it's implied that it will be slow because it has 201 chapters, I know I should hate myself for not watching this anime before but now that I have some time, I think I'll give it a chance.

I saw from the mile that; the person is escaping to meet his idol only for the twist that it was her actual daughter. The Mangaka turn the comedy into a serious drama without losing the grip of the both.

Also, WHO THE FVCK WROTE THOSE LYRICS?
