| New footage could possibly mean showing some stuff that they didn't show in the anime.. Clearing floors, etc OR showing the part they completely just said "Fuck it" which was the obtaining the Excalibur part. The possibility of showing a "teaser" for GGO is slim, but likely. |

That part is supposed to be explained in Mother's Rosario arc, besides, it's a side story which contains Shinon inside of it as well, so it's supposed to be after Phantom Bullet which is right after the Fairy Dance arc and the one we are expecting to see on the continuation of this anime series. They could have added the part where Kirito and Leafa fall down underneath the surface, and show how they found the location of Excaliber, along with everything that happened down there, because they didn't just fly to Yggdrasil, they reached there from underneath through a gate that can open only from the inside (after they opened it since they came from bellow, they obtained as well the key that allow them to open the door from the outside as well for when they wish to go for Excaliber), that door is at the end of a stair that comes from the city at the roots of Yggdrasil. Or they could have added certain event that took place in Aincrad. Let me ask you, did you guys know that the first floor's boss fight and the whole episode 2 is in fact a Side story and not in the original? |

| Since they have said already, they would love to continue with the project, and they also said "If we really do happen to get back to it, we will definitely focuse a full episode season into 1 arc", even though i doubt there will be a continuation announced before 2014, i certainly do hope so i am wrong, but i am kind of aware of what the extra will be, after all, they did left out a lot of stuff from both Aincrad and Fairy Dance arcs.. Now, there is this concept as well, what if they just do a recap up to what we saw from episode 1 to 25, and then drop in an extra which is the start of the next arc, like, how did Kirito met with a certain someone and ended up joining the Gun Gale Online game for certain reasons, now that would be awesome. Read on your own risk. |

| There's plenty they could do, they could add First Day as a way to explain some of the early in-game concepts, Reason for the Whiskers to get Argo some screen-time(there just wasn't enough in the original!!! please!!!!!!!), I'd love it if it was Rondo of the Transient Sword but I doubt we'll get that, way too long, I don't really remember if XaXa made that comment about horse-riding Kirito in Inner Area Incident that would work as a foreshadowing for GGO (it worked the other way around in the novels but hell) but they could add that if it wasn't in the original, we could get Tonkii and the Jotunheimr part at last, or a little teaser like Zekushiido's... accident in GGO or Kikuoka contacting Kirito for help; or maybe an anime original scene, like Kirito meeting Kikuoka for the first time in-between Aincrad and Fairy Dance. Whatever it is, I can't wait *-* |

They accept an ALO underwater quest after Yui tells them that she wants to see a whale. Later on the gang find out that Suguha/Leafa cant actually swim therefore Asuna takes Suguha to a real life swimming pool to train her. Meanwhile when all this is going on, Kirito is having a mysterious meeting with someone. Just gonna say this but this special is the perfect gap to put between the Fairy Dance Arc and the Phantom Bullet Arc. In the light novel of GGO at the start, Kirito is having a meeting with Kikuoka Seijirou, an investigator of SAO Case Victims Rescue Force. At this meeting they discuss the recent VRMMO death cases that have occured in a game called GGO. Kikouka requests Kirito to investigate this issue and to transfer over to GGO from ALO. | I do hope that it contains more boss fights. I was disappointed at 1st because they skipped floors but it eventually became my favorite anime history. I did see an interview with the creator or director saying they would love to do another season but they are currently busy with other things. Someone asked a question about making GGO an OVA & they replied saying if they that they will do a series if so. All the information I have though. The extras would be a great way to introduce a 2nd season though. |

| There's something about this extra that's confusing me... It's going to be a recap with new footage AND a new episode (the one in which the girls go to the beach) or will they somehow include this beach story in the recap (or maybe this is the new footage they are talking about)? |

| So MAL finally starts locking news threads that are only a few weeks old? I wonder where was the announcement of this change? Or we are seeing yet another case of changes made that impacted users but not communicated to them? I wonder how long people would put up with this. As much as I have a bunch of information to share about anime announced recently I cannot share it in news board, and the anime series is too disorganized and chaotic to share information except with people already interested in the particular series. |
