| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ----------------------------------------  Lol, first episode was funny. Tamako and her expressions along with that bird. The bird even talk! Anyways, fun episode and a lot of the artwork reminds me of K-On! Had to face palm a few times though when watching that bird talk to the characters especially Tamako. Catchy ED song as well. Dat bird: |

| That bird is nuts but he did illustrate the serious choking hazard mochi can cause. Neguse is a beautiful and catchy ED. Kaoru's voice is far too masculine for my tastes. |

| Well not bad first episode,the bird its so crazy!! The OP and ED its pretty good specially at is being said the ending its really catchy,Tamako its cute really like her personality,Anko cute imouto!! Mochizou obvious that its in love with Tamako wonder if as episode pass will have a "fight"for her with Dera XD and the rest are not bad also again Ono Daisuke voicing a trap....if its a trap -.- Well seems will be another Moe/Slice of life of KyoAni,enjoyable first episode let see what will bring us next. I agree. I really love this art style, but I think once in a few animes they shouild change it. Just you know, variety. I really don't mind too much though. | So next episode will be devoted to dealing with that bird's death? or at least with moving him bit into background, tone down and less pervy Because except him everything is nice and pretty here (ok he has nice voice I liked it - most of guys sound good here). Adorable cast I must say, not only those kids but seeing more of other shop owners might be awesome. |

| This episode is gold. It's like the perfect mix of KyoAni's cute with this wacky zany comedy and it's absolutely hilarious. Definitely a must watch of the season. |
| I was prepared for meh episode, but this suprised me pleasantly. The pace was rather fast, maybe a bit too fast even. It wasn't boring for even a while due to that though, even when not much was happening, there were some funny moments . All in all, this seems like a good SoL series, let's hope it just keeps up the current level. |

| That bird is the star of the show!!!!!! Which is the bad thing :/ How am I suppose to get the feel of the other characters personality when its been bombarded by the bird's hilarious actions? Looking forward to to the show but hope it sheds more light on the other characters T^T |

| KyoAni's storyboarding is characteristically perfect. Even if what they do is a bit stale and boring, they do it flawlessly. |
| They needed a bit more pauses in between some scenes, but seems like a series worth sticking around |

| Well I think this anime is a whole other level of moe. It's hard to believe that Tamako is a high school freshman. She looks and sounds like she's 7. Mochizou's voice actor sounded like a mix of Kaji Yuki and Kimura Ryohei. |
