| calling the new design soulless would be like calling the LN/Manga design soulless as well. That's how the characters are supposed to look according to the original materials.     |

I watched the original years ago and I really liked it, but when I tried watching it again I couldn’t get through it because of the art style. But at the time of watching it I liked it |
| I can't really make an opinion from PV alone because it's still work in progress, but I kinda preferred 2008 design better. It just aged so damn well and still looks amazing. New still looks very good from what we've seen, so it's still win-win. |

| Both designs are really good. I like the sharpness of the old one, but the new one looks a lot more like the LN. The character do look a lot younger in the new one which I will have to see more to get an opinion on. I really hope it carries that same feel of the original with the old, dingy type of feeling in some of the cities. It made the cities feel very realistic with the times. |

| So far, I prefer the new design, but I'm not 100% sure without seeing how the characters move/act in an actual episode. I will have a more definitive judgement on that when the new show will start airing. |

I will never understand fans who complain when reboots actually decide to be faithful to the source material this time. The new design looks miles better. gotta complain about everything like their anime daddies gigcuck and trashman and all the other youtubers who cares if this is what theyve been always screaming about like how every aniem totally NEEDS the fmab treatment of remake and faithful adaptation but when the time comes AND it gets one they start to bitch cause realsie itll ruined their nostalgia(S&W) or the series wasnt actually that good and they missed the point of the series and blame the production for ruining it(devil is a part timer) cant wait for the soul eater or TG remake that everyone always yearns for but it just has a minor flaw and these same fans asking for a remake will proceed to call the new product souless |

| We're diving for the soul of a mass market machine, but it seems a question of attunement. I wouldn't know soul if I could drown its dying embers and crawl inside the husk. Perhaps it was something like Disco. |

| What can I say except they both are good. New one is more closer to the LN art. It seems like they want the remake to be more accurate. |

| old one for sure, only thing i prefer about the new one is how her red eyes are more popping now. it's not terrible though, just weaker in comparison. |

| The new design is good but the old one is better, you can't feel the "furry" in the new design, she used to be furry-ish in OG, but the new visual makes her model softer. but let's see when the anime aired. |
