Yeah I’m confused why this was even brought up as a discussion.

So, basically he took inspiration from almost all of the most popular battle shounen shounen that exists.
Like literally anyone else.

is the point in arguing? one would not be without the other, in the case “the others”

all the new shounen are ispired by the old ones, nothing new, it's like saying that the new iPhone was ispired by the old ones, you Need to understand where the author was inspired, not Who.

And in interview he mentioned he was inspired to write manga
He didn't mention that his work was inspired from these mangas

It was the interview with Kubo where gege mentioned that jjk shares similarities with bleach and there was no mention of Naruto

I might be bold, but I think the author just took the best parts of the big shonen and combine them into Jujutsu Kaisen, which is something I like. Mostly I think it's more similar to Naruto

I've been thinking all this time that it was inspired by Ao no Exorcist (since the plot seems the most similar), but ig then the world is bigger than I assume.

As someone who has been reading a lot of stories for years, I find inspiration not something to be ashamed of but rather an intelligent move. It's like reading a novel where the characters are from another author or pretty similar, and you think to yourself "Hey, this sounds familiar. Perhaps this writter also liked this author as I do".

Only you can save yourself.
I only know what I know, I guess?

dont judge the book by its cover applies mainly to people

first impressions last thats why a lot of marketing is put into making attention grabbing covers for books for example and making the first few episodes or chapters more interesting due to the 3 episode rule for example

Because jjk is popular, mainstream and it is actually good. Most of the people who cry about jjk just use the “overrated” argument without actually having an opinion on the show (I call this the demon slayer effect)

This is such a weird thing that people argue about that? Like why.
Wow a shonen action manga author was influenced by other highly popular and most influential shonen action manga of their time? No way?
We all know what influential means, right?

Also what other manga than those should have influenced him when creating JJK?
Fruits Basket?
I mean what is the discussion even about at that point?
