People are comparing mappa to madhouse but I don't see it mappa only created two godlike animation show jjk and god of highschool and people are like oh this is the greatest studio ever have any of you watched takt op destiny terrible ass show for a game that is only available in japan.To me my favorite studio is wit studio because every show they created never missed granted some shows are bad but they're like really small studio.they didn't creat that much anime or films.but the majority of them are godlike where if you watched them you have to give it a 8,9 or 10.

People are comparing mappa with madhouse because the same person founded both studios. Most of the staff of madhouse went to mappa anyway, so mappa=new madhouse.

There are a lot of studios which gave some awesome animes throughout years. Heck even Studio Deen was one time considered one of the best, with Kyo kara Maou, KonoSuba and many other good series. It all depends upon time, budget and the staff that is handling the project.

MAPPA is praised a lot is because, they make lots of animes in less time and still give decent quality. Just due to 1 ir 2 bad shows, won't make them a bad studio. It all comes down to how it is implemented.

Wit Studio surely is good with whatever they make, but they are technically an old production company(Subsidiary of Production I.G). It was started (so they say) to animate AoT. But they took many other projects other than that. It is also closely linked to MAPPA. A few series that wit handled (AoT, Vinland Saga) are now handled by MAPPA, all produced by Production IG.

I personally like Madhouse. They have some amazing talented and experienced animators. Many animes I watched, which were produced by Madhouse are my personal favorites, like Death Note, One Punch Man, Monster, Parasyte etc..

My second favorite is KyoAni Though I haven't watched many shows by them I really liked Dragon maid and Chuunibyou.

For me, mappa and madhouse are in the same tier for me and I like the work they do. I love A-1 Pictures and I like their romantic and drama animes very much. I think Pierrot studio is hated too much, Pierrot has always made the longest animes and mostly in terms of quality They did a good job. When I look at this forum, everyone loves kyoto. It's not a studio that I like. Its drawings seem too anime to me, of course, this is a matter of taste. Ufotable is also a studio with very good animations, but I think it's exaggerated, they talk as if they are making single goat animations ufotable. Also, some said it would be nice if they made one piece ufotable. Finally, there is sunrise, maybe the most underrated studio among anime studios and in my opinion the best anime studio.

It’s hard to compare now. Because animation studios quality change like the wind. Toei animation in the 80’s and 90’s was amazing and so was Studio Pierrot with yu yu Hakusho, naruto, bleach. But now they continue to disappoint in recent history with the exception of One piece for Toei animation. Studio madhouse was incredible with Trigun, Hajime no ippo, death note… but has fallen off recently. Wit Studio right now is amazing but it started reporting loss of money last year and big brother Production I.G is getting involved. People love Attack on Titan season 1-3, but they can’t afford the budget for season 4 thank goodness there is studio Mappa otherwise there wouldn’t be a season 4 of attack on Titan. Kyoto Animation doesn’t miss but the terroristic attack in the summer of 2019 has ruined things and hopefully soon Kyoto animation gets in the swing of things. Clover works know how to knock every season 1 series out of the park… then season 2 of the series comes around and disappoint fans.

As of right now the most consistent animation studios are Studio bones, studio Mappa, ufotable, and White fox. If one had to go it would be studio bones, because the abomination of my hero academia season 4-5, leaving Mappa, ufotable, and white fox. Because when these studios pick up a series we love we know they’ll do their best and not cut corners. People lose their minds when Mappa announces their involvement in their favorite adaption. Ufotable picked up demon slayer a very generic story manga that is average at best and managed to create a phenomenal series. White fox is a whole other animal cutting commercial breaks and taking openings and endings away from an anime so we can get 29 minutes in a whole episode. It’s very different. And their involvement with a lot of other great series is very impressive especially if they’re the 3rd party.

Again this list can change. Mappa could fumble the bag with chainsaw man leaving an opportunity for Kyoto animation to retake their place or Studio madhouse to gain momentum again. But ufotable and white fox is definitely staying part of the big three.

I was talking about bubble and vampire in the garden. Ousama ranking is pretty good kind of fell off in the 2nd half but still pretty good, vivy lost my interest after like 6th episode.
