As for the sequel, anyone who has seen this: and this: should get an idea of what to expect in S2. Hopefully I don't constantly see: "Why that character is getting so much screen-time!" or "I didn't want to see this!" or "I hate this!" or "Bring me back my ship! T_T". I hope we all enjoy the series as a whole! I am positive it won't fail to impress me at the very least! |

| Hazuki is such a sweetheart. And I don't use that word often (being a cold-hearted male and everything). Dat Natsuki hug made me love Natsuki even more as well. She has always been best girl. Looks like KyoAni got even more subtle AND obvious with their depiction of character interactions and emotional climates...Hazuki's tension with Suuichi wasperfectly showcased by simple stuff like quick cuts of Hazuki moving her finger away from his when they touched whilst holding the tuba case. We even got to see how Hazuki encouraged that fist bump <3  Also, twinkle twinkle little star became Hazuki's prized reminder of her love of being a bass player, that's awesome. Another great throwaway moment.  And dat call back to a tubist's lung capacity lol. Hazuki's a badass, carrying dat tuba case, which proved to be too heavy for dem male students lol Overall, a great episode that reinforced the atmosphere of Hibike!'s world and a general callback to the emotional climaxes of the series. |

| Hazuki and Shuichi has a cute chemistry on screen, always fun to see them. She's become quite loveable indeed. Monaka fight~ Seriously, can't wait for the second season. I hope it airs in Spring again. Never underestimate Hazuki! |

| Wow. It's really good to see how KyoAni deepened Hazuki's character in this OVA. She really is such a sweetheart and definitely one of the best genki-gal I've ever seen. Can't wait for Season 2! |

| This is like a sugar cupcake in a frosting ocean, it's them ships man. Hazuki is not really much of an important character to the series but this is a cute way to seperate the love triangle once and for all unless the relentless Reina shippers still have some steam to blow after this OVA. Arigatou kyoani. You make anime great. Based on the novel titles for the show it looks like it'll focus on other members for S2 and we'll see what they would do with it, which hopefully won't be to much fluff. |

| That was a nice extra episode. Lovely how they focused on Hazuki in this OVA. Just shows what a great personality she has, and that determination is something to admire too. Those eyes are still as entrancing as ever. Can't wait for S2. |

| One of the best special episodes, giving us new perspective on what happened before ending of season 1. Seriously other studios should learn something from this. Instead of wasting an ova over beach episode they also should flash their stories and characters. |
| A side story focusing on Katou of the B Team. Well her attitude is certainly to be commended. I can't help but feel bad for the poor girl though. I remember now, some of the bitterness this series produced. Hopefully things go better for her next season. 7/10. |

| Forgetting sticks/mallets is always a fear of mine. I never trust non-percussionists to remember to bring them. I also couldn't help but be reminded of Yui's running scene in the last episode of K-On!'s first season during Hazuki's running scene. They both have reflective callbacks to how they started. |

| Wow, great special. It went way too fast. I really love this series. The bond this band have between them is really incredible and beautiful to watch. 5/5 from me. This ep. were really good. I really glad the focus were on Hazuki-chan and not Kumiko. And wow she has a great stamina. Even I can't run like that. xD She is really a cute girl. Poor girl, in the end she doesn't get what she want. Oh well, rejection makes you stronger. ;) And that hug she got from Natsuki were really cute.  The animation were also really beautiful as always. This studio can really make good shit. Again I were really amazed of the animation. Unlike Toei, these guys have really good animators. The OST were also great. All in all I think this special deserve 8/10. Anyways, very hyped for the 2nd season. Also curious about the recap movie. :) |

| I wasn't too crazy about Hazuki or anything in the main series but this was surprisingly a nice change of pace. Can't wait for season 2. |

| Almost teared up a bit there. I love how endearing most the characters are, especially Natsuki, even in the first season. Natsuki has her cool and caring personality(probably my favorite of the bunch even though we barely know much of her), and though Hazuki seems airheaded at times, she's really selfless to a fault and seems headstrong I loved the running scene. Looking forward to season 2 even more |

| Crunchyroll releasing this caught me off guard today. The lack of any recent news about it made it a wonderful surprise for me and it was fun getting back into the show before the second season airs in the fall. Coming home from work this morning I was pretty tired and this OVA was just what I needed to regain some energy. Love how all the girls actually enjoy being in concert band, When I was in Grade 10 I joined concert band because I wanted to play the trombone but my parents nudged me to play the clarinet and my god I hated playing the clarinet. I quit the very next year. |
