DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Welp surprise surprise, look who the new student at school is and all the guys are looking at her. I can't say I'm surprised at that bitch slap Sakuya handed to Suseri though. The rivalry between those two is quite cringe worthy though imo. Action was meh and the monster of the week turned out to be some walking piece of armor with a flashy sword. Oh and look who showed up at the end there. The mind control gimmick was lame imo. |

| Even though Suseri was ridiculing Sakuya out of their rivalry, she definitely went a bit too far. Sakuya too, didn't have to slap her for it. Battle against the Golems was alright, nothing special. The enemies in this show aren't that strong anyways. Sakuya's pantsu must be made out of some durable materials, even Suseri's Kamaitachi couldn't tear it away! This is probably the reason for her incompetence in suppressing the specters, since she'd be busy spending times on stuff like this. Average episode. The end cards continue to be awesome though. |

| My god, the censoring is frigging awful. Censor it well or don't bother, guys. This is an ecchi show, no need to be shy, goddammit. The story is quite a bit out of sync with the manga while still following the core story. It's certainly an odd combination and one I'm not really comfortable with, having blown a night reading through it. Pretty disappointed overall with the adaptation; after reading through the manga, even through all the ecchi and harem elements this could have been something more interesting. Unfortunately, if I'm remembering this correctly the studio handling this isn't the greatest out there(putting it lightly) so Isuca had little chance of overall success from the start. |

The "mind control" gimmick is really more of a "body control" one (or at least should be), and is actually a fairly standard thing based on folklore, not just some stupid anime cliché. As for the ep, not bad compared to the rest of the series thus far, but I don't like that they killed some character development by switching the identity of the one behind the attack. More Isuca and a few deaths wasn't worth it. |

Its not good adaptation so I'll treat this not as an adaptation but a stand alone. Comparing this to the original is useless. Still, I'm gonna continue to watch this. |

Suseri hadn't even been introduced yet. It was chapter 7 where he learned Sakuya's true name. However, the mouse battle from last episode was chapters 10-11. And honestly, it's not as important when it happens as long as it does, which I think it will. It's too important a plot point to be left out. Of course, they also added that incident in episode one, so if they'd followed his ability, he'd already know it by this point in the anime. |

| Pretty sure that the transliteration for "truth" in hebrew is "emet" not "emeth" but that doesn't matter too much.. This show is crappy but I guess I'll keep watching since it's only 10 episodes long.. :/ |

| The worst anime adaptation I've ever seen. All characters look at void points when speaking with someone, there is never a coherent discussion, the "professionists" get killed like headless chickens (c'mon, that armor was slow as fuck, and they can't even run away from him and get beheaded, heh). I'm going to complain about ecchi part too: in the manga the "ecchi" parts were comic, in the anime seems extremly forced and there is always a 2-3 seconds frame-stop on some girl's boobs, C'MON! (and they are not even arousing!) How to ruin a good manga! I'm not saying it's a masterpiece, but it was and it is something nice to read. Instead after every episode, I'm getting more and more disappointed by the anime. |
| Why is it that every time there is some kind of family/organization battling something, all the adults are babies? Shouldn't they be already used to that kind of life and seeing death? Why does it needs to be the kids to get cocky and.... oh... it's normal for teens to get cocky... i guess... never mind them... And yeah, why they still even need to argue about the goddam kiss (with the enemy not attacking) if it's a battle, a life and death situation... Anyway, those faces... |

| So that's how he gets the sword. Censors were actually pretty good this episode...only because in a few of the shots they didn't make it dark enough and you could see nips. Suseri is way hotter than Sakuya, but her methods of getting shit done are deplorable and make her a really hateable character. She sent in a whole squad of people to their deaths, just because she didn't want Sakuya to know. Then she was going to kill Sakuya without a fuck to give. Plus she got that guy killed last week too. Like if I want a hot as character with big tits who's not a total bitch, I'll stick with Tamako. |

I mentioned last episode that I wanted to just go there and bitchslap them for that pointless bickering. There's stubborn, and then there's I'm-so-stupid-stubborn that they don't seem to know what in the world priorities are. Perhaps the golems couldn't comprehend their logic too and were simply stunned by their sheer stupidity. xP |

| Hahaha this is so bad. Worst Shana clone I've seen so far. I've heard that the manga, although it wasn't very good was much better than this adaption. No likable characters so far, especially Suseri - My god is she annoying. Stupidest character in the anime, going off and doing things on her own, needing to be saved and never learning from her mistakes it seems. Dat arrogance. |

| This is one of the worst anime I have ever seen... I usually like harem shows, even really bad ones. But this is just too much. It feels like Kore wa Zombie desu ka? trying to be Shakugan no Shana. Not something I ever wanted to see. It can hang out with Karen Senki and Ao Haru Ride. |
| I think you can blame the studio for the Shana copycat feel of the anime. Rather than build on the plot of the manga they've decided to go for the lowest common denominator. This episode confirms that we won't even come close to the original plot. The samurai golems were not controlled by the western wizard in the manga. Their actual controller was someone who has had their role totally nerfed in this anime. If the female characters seem to be a little light, that's largely because their backstory (and the whole element of the family power struggle) has been stripped out of this show. While the original manga did have deaths and blood, this adaptation seems to have added gratuitous gore (and those scenes of school girls being assaulted in the first episodes) simply to attract the viewers who like that sort of thing. Do yourself a favour and read the manga...although you may find it hard to come back to this abysmal adaptation afterwards. |

| Those guys looking out the window staring at Suseri was pretty funny. But damn, when Sakuya picked up the sword, I was like, "WTF? Why would you pick up a sword that has like some dark magic lingering around it?" |
| Oh god this show is pretty painful to watch ... Suseri transfers in and all the boys like her, no surprise there honestly. Then she sends off a team to try to fight the scepter which fails (though running in one at a time = classic mistake), then tries to take it on herself ... well, she ALMOST got it I guess? Sakuya and crew show up, they do battle and lose then she makes a plan which somehow works and they argue over the whole kissing thing again. After they finally deal with the golem Sakuya goes and PICKS UP AN EVIL SWORD. LIKE COME ON MAN. WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT??? Some more needless fanservice (of course Sakuya's clothes only get ripped off but Shinichirou actually gets cut) but he manages to find the sword spirit's true name at least. The new girl seems pretty powerful since both the Shimazu's couldn't defeat her, but it seems like she has a grudge against the family for some reason? Well, idk, I guess we might see more of her soon ... Also man Sakuya is so annoying ... I mean seriously wanting Shinichirou to remake dinner? -_-" Make it yourself if you don't like it ... god I mean you don't even have to cook for yourself why should you order him around like that?! Not to mention slapping Suseri ... we still don't know why, was she just super pissed? I mean that's not okay (not to mention we zoom out and she's like 2 metres away lol). Ugh, tsundere characters are so terrible sometimes >_< |
| Why must every male character in anime instantly fawn over a girl with a huge rack? And why must Suseri transfer to the same school as Sakuya? Is she that keen on getting Shinichirou away from her sister (who I think is still better suited for leading the family than her, though both girls have their fair share of stupidity). As for Sakuya, she needs to soften up a bit. As much as I generally like tsunderes, she's a bit too bitchy to poor Shinichirou, who 0only tried to please her, even though he didn't know how to make Irish stew. Then again, it wouldn't hurt him if he stood up a bit more for himself, instead of letting her walk all over him (unless he likes that, of course). It would probably make her froth at the mouth, but she'll never learn otherwise. |

| The QUALITY is getting worse by episode, almost disgusting really, I usually don't mind fanservice/plain characters and everything else but if they are done poorly it's not even worth the time. But I guess I'll keep watching this for Tamako. |
