| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Poor Kobushi and Kyotaro ... I think they will make it though since they didn't suffer fatal injuries. Poor Rinka as well. While she didn't suffer grave injuries, I feel like her spirit got broken a bit after that encounter with the other espers. I like how she trains with her father though. Now that's the type of spirit I like from her. That panda is pretty funny and wise in this episode. Rinka should listen to him. Overall, I thought episode was kinda meh. I hope pacing picks up a bit. |

| Damn, a lot of people are injured, during that shipwreck thanks to those Terrorist ESP. Guess some people have trust on Rinka and her father. Basically the episode is all about enhancing their fights and to eliminate all of those evil ESP. Rinka and her allies are willing to get stronger and more powerful :D. I do laugh at some scenes, especially the Panda master and Rinka helping Kobushi out when she have to change her clothes XD. |

| Fuck me, this botched action show instills more terror than Terror in Tokyo. A nice episode for once, some actual character building and the old master has finally arrived. This is what I like, character struggle. As a training arc this is pretty damn good as well, despite the fast pacing. 4/5 Good, good. I'm finding myself enjoying laid down episodes more and more, probably because it allows me to see these characters for what they express. |

| Nice ep. Didn't except all those deaths :O Must've been tough for Rinka to enter and see them dead. Loved the saving scene with her dad though. Loving Panda Roshi ^^ "Panda Pai Ken Return" was so lol XD Nice to see Rinka training. So I'm guessing Rinka was late in the first ep because she was training? She was hotter than usual in her training clothes :3 And Ogata Megumi's voice with Natural Perm guy was nice :3 |

| I really didn't feel this episode. I understand the MC's pain at not being to save ALL THE PEOPLE but at the same time, she's a high schooler and really shouldn't be having delusions that she's actually capable of saving everyone. I almost like the plot until we get to the characters now, and before I thought they were all well done. If only I could rewind that to episode 2... |
| Just why the show is rated so much lower than other current season's generic stuff like Tokyo Ghoul? At least it's nowhere worse. Aso is it just me, or the music is really good? 4/5 episode, really enjoyable one. |
| But can Tokyo Tower really hold up the weight of a cargo ship? I enjoyed the appearance of Ayumu; we finally get to see how he gets involved with the story. Wonder how strong he is at this point :V |

| This was a good episode! Still have problems with how obnoxiously over powered the bad guys seem to be however. compared to the bad guys, the good guys powers are all pretty weak and slightly useless. I guess thats all part of it though? The feeling of hopelessness in the face of that kind of raw power. |

| Perverted martial arts teacher named Roshi... >_> It was rushed again but that's nothing new. At least it kept the same overall tone for the most part and didn't jump around as much. Got some character building. Though I really didn't like how she met Roshi, trained with Roshi, I... assume she gave up..? Otherwise what was the point of asking Roshi to teach her from square 1 again... All that in 1 episode. Geez... Oh well, not a bad episode. |
| My main thoughts while watching this episode: "What is with the freaking Panda?" "Why are you a freaking Panda?" "Okay, so she got serious, now can YOU get serious and take off that stupid Panda suit!?" Seriously, this panda guy completely killed the episode for me! I don't get it, what is with the outfit? What does it have to do with his character? And as if that wasn't bad enough, he's got to be a freaking pervert to boot? Pedo-Panda much!? I expected to really like this show since it was made by the same guy that made Ga-Rei, but each episode just seems to get worse and worse. |

| panda boob touch~ one of the better characters has finally entered. Again, this episode was rushed and not in a good way. It didn't display how Rinka transition from being whiny & lazy to becoming a driven and hard working character as well as it did in the manga. Needed to spend a episode or two on this segment to show Rinka's & Murasaki's character development |

| I doubt Azuma's hand will ever be the same. After all, that sword did sever bones, muscles, nerves...so much damage that it seems almost impossible to fix. But since it's an anime with supernatural powers, we'll see. Minami is such a tool. Wanting to indict and confine every known esper because some are dangerous, and others are terrorists? Talk about prejudice and discrimination. Last I checked, this was X-men's plot for their entire franchise. But since these characters are so clearly carbon copies, all they have to do is throw up the parody, homage, or fair use card and call it a day. They're weren't even trying to be clever about it from the start it seems. Also, Rinka = Kitty Pryde. Yoda turned into a panda! A perverted old martial arts master named Roshi ... hmmm, where have I seen this before :P I'm pretty sure he's supposed to be in a panda costume because of the zipper, but he seems to eat through the mask so who knows. "Panda Boob Fist!" LOL, I love this anime sometimes :P This honestly has been one of the most pleasant surprises of the season, along with Sabagebu. |
