I presume there's gonna be a third season somewhere down the line, I mean there hasn't been an official announcement as of now, but the Manga is currently ranked at number 5 in Japan which makes it pretty popular! Hopefully, in the near future it'll get another season, for now Imma read the manga and wait for the OVA to come out!! :) |

But, there's a lot of speculation that maybe Aladdin is actually Solomon?? And it's clear that Ugo is hiding stuff from Aladdin! |

| For every season of Magi, around 100 chapters have been animated. So, for a season 3 they would anime from chapter 200-300. Assuming they do the same thing they've been doing, they should start a 3rd season when the manga is close to, if not past, the 300 mark. As of now, chapter 230 was released today. Looks like it'll be a while :( When they do animate it, it'll be epic! |

Meaning your calculations are wrong by default. I'm sure there will be a new season soon. I remember when season 1 aired I started reading the manga. The manga wasn't that far along when the anime started. Also you ignored the weeks there are breaks. Magi has probably 2-3 weeks at least in holiday breaks giving the manga a bit to widen the gap. Also they could make the episodes more filled in. There could also be fillers. If one piece can do it for as long as it has there is no reason magi can't do it too. Magi exists ultimately to make money. Don't underestimate what people will do and say yes to when it comes to when and how to make money off of a proven successful idea. I think its entirely possible for you to be correct but I also think it's entirely improbable as well. I agree to disagree and keep the hope alive! |

| lets say it was around 180 ish when S2 ended, lets divide that by 2 and say it takes 90 chapters per 25 episode season. The manga is currently around 235?, which is 50 something leaving just 40 chapters until there is enough material for another season. Now just going off of that alone it doesn't hit 2016, but also factor in that they can do 20 more chapters, and then start the anime and by the time the 3rd season ends, the manga will (barely) have covered all that material and then some. Id say as early as spring but that's just being optimistic, someone said it had a shit fan-base in japan and that means it might not get one at all (like legend of legendary heros) |

Its about 60 short of that, minus 20 or so because the anime would take 25 or so weeks to complete another season, that's still 40 weeks, and that's april, meaning they can air it as early as the spring season which is 3 - 6 months earlier then your prediction. Now thats assuming they do start airing it before they hit that 300th chapter, which they could. After S2 ended the manga wasn't that far ahead at all right? so they probably started airing before the manga covered all of S2's material aswell. hmm nah it actually was 20 chapters ahead after it ended, but it still doesn't change the fact that the earliest it can come in is spring of 2015 unless something happens and they stop releasing chapters weekly Mod edit: Double post merged. |

No that is not April, that's June, which means Summer season But they actually don't need the whole 100 chapters, if you look at the quote from Baka-Updates above, you'll see that they only used 84 chapters for the second season, so it actually may be Spring if they decide to use smaller number of chapters again |

| The anime whipped through like 200 chapters of manga in 50 episodes. We're only at 240 in the manga. The manga is consistently being released but I don't think it's time to start another season. I just want another season of Maou-sama. So light hearted and stupid plz giff. |

| Its unannounced but I believe there eventually will be but itll be a minimum of 2 years away still. Season 1 covered ~100 chapters I believe and season 2 covered the next ~100 leaving only like 15 published chapters at season 2's finale. Just checked and the manga is on chapter 240 so at least like 16 months to wait for a possible season 3. edit: Also, Im calling it right now. Season 3 will be called the "History of Magic". Watch. |

One is too rushed, the other is so slow. And if OP has fillers, Magi has skipped scenes. | Each season so far has taken up about 100 chapters of the manga. Season 1 wrapped up around 115. Season 2 wrapped up around chapter 200. Magi is now at 250-something. This means we're close to a year without enough materials for a third season. Plus serialization usually takes place half a year even after the announcement. It doesn't appear likely that we'll have a third season until fall 2016 at the earliest. But it's likely that there will be. So far they've been doing a pretty good job with the adaptation and Magi's a popular series, so I don't see why not. |
| Ah, there's a really low chance of them not creating a season 3. I mean... come on. The manga and anime are both very popular. The manga is on-going with around 3-4 new chapters a month, which is going at a nice rate. I'm just really hoping they won't change too much in the third season when it'll be made. I just really want to see the Alma Torran arc animated. It will explain a lot about who Aladdin and Ugo really are, etc. |
