| So I watched the first episode of FLCL with high expectations... and I was completely let down. I did not find it funny or interesting, and to be completely honest, I don't understand what is going on after the first episode. The only thing I liked was the animation. Did anyone else feel this way? Does it get better? Should I stick with it or drop it? |

| If it's not your cup of tea then maybe not. The humor is incredibly Japanese and difficult to translate, but I tend to just look past that. But the show does definitely get better so give it a chance. |

| If you didn't like the humor in English, I doubt just watching it in Japanese is gonna make a difference. There aren't many episodes but there is no major change in tone or anything, if you didn't enjoy or even find Ep1 interesting, you will probably not for the rest. I personally didn't understand the hype when I first watched it either, to me, its just one of those typical anime that people find nostalgic cause they saw it back on Toonami or something. |

| Yes. I thought it was horrible at first so i dropped it but then somebody said 'go watch it right now' and unexpectedly ended up enjoying it. |
