The January issue (on sale November 24) of Hakusensha's LaLa shōjo magazine has announced that Matsuri Hino's Vampire Knight manga will be animated for television in Japan.

Definitely one of the mangas that I really wanted to see animated. I hope the studio does the title justice. I miss my adventure-y shoujos.

I'm not at all surprised considering the popularity of VP. Maybe a little at how long it took. Hopefully it will do exceedingly well and warrant her other titles an anime adaptation. Needless to say but I am definitely looking forward to this!!
