| Dunno, leetshoe. How Japan names their anime characters is ridiculous. From the standard Japanese names like Konako to European names like Edward to European sounding but not real names like khushrenada and Lelouch. |

| I've seen a porno starring her (3D), it was hot. As said, she's a mascot and the company most likely doesn't want to change her name for the sake of the anime so kept "Super Sonico" instead. There's nothing wrong with that, there are plenty of anime that gives the characters odd names, we even have one that names the girls all after fire arms and I think that's even more strange than this. |

Nitroplus basically wanted to promote themselves using their mascot character (Sonico) and the music authored under that personality. It still kills me that I don't know who sings for Sonico. |
