I found this on the internet(presumably taken from the Girls und Panzer Complete Book). So these are the insignias of the schools that participated in the 63rd Sensha-do Nationals.(click the link)

For reference for the names of the schools, here's an image of from tournament line-up in episode 5 of Girls und Panzer(click the link):

Thanks for pointing that out.

I think that "BC Free School" is a mistake. I strongly suspect that it should be
"Vichy Free School". Recall that, after June 1940, France was divided into the
occupied part and Vichy France whose capital city was Vichy. There was also
"Free France" which I believe were simply the soldiers who were loyal to
General Charles de Gaulle. There are lots of French tanks, so it kind of makes
sense that one of the tank teams should be based on France.

In Japanese, they don't have the "v" sound. So they tend to replace it with
the "b" sound. Hence the confusion. They DO have a symbol for the "v"
sound which would be used for Foreign words. But usually they just use
the "b" sound.

I am desperately looking forward to the OVA, since I believe that
Chi-Ha-Tan Academy is going to be involved. Or maybe it will be in the movie.

Nice to know that. I've learned something new. Thanks for clearing that out. :)

Thank you for this new image. It is much, much better. It clearly names the
country corresponding to each team. That was not made explicit in any other
official Girls und Panzer material that I recall seeing. But I have seen unofficial
versions that were obviously created by fans. So it really is true that "BC Free
School" represents France, and "Maginot" does as well. And of course France
was divided into two parts after June 1940.

It is very interesting to note that the Ooarai Girls Academy is the only team that
does not represent some country. There is a team that represents Japan, which
is Chi-Ha-Tan Academy. The distinctive feature of Ooarai is that they have a
weird mixture of tanks from many different countries.

I don't know whether some kind person feels like translating all of the Japanese
and cutting and pasting in the English country names so as to create an English
version of this beautiful image.

Correction: BC Free School is the actual name...I don't know what BC means in this case.

BC actually represents the Free French movement under Charles de Gaulle. The Cross of Lorraine in the emblem is a giveaway for that.

Maginot is the Vichy France school.

Hi Entropy13. Thanks.

1) As you say, that is the Cross of Lorraine. I had never heard of it before.
2) As you say, the Cross of Lorraine is associated with Free French in WWII.
3) Looking at the crest, it is blue on the left and red on the right. It also has a
white squiggle down the middle. This corresponds to the colors of the French flag.
4) The crest has a hexagonal shape. The French people themselves commonly
call their own country "the hexagon". So that makes sense.
5) The name of the school is BC自由學院, and 自由 can mean "free". So this
seems to tie in with Free France.

The unexplained mystery is what do the "B" and the "C" mean?

Maybe BC is in French?

"Blindée" and "cuirassée" both means armored/armoured in French, albeit coming from different roots (with the former being a literal description of the armored divisions of the French, while the latter is a carry over from the heavy armored cavalry of the 18th-19th century).

The 2nd Armored Division for example, is 2e Division Blindée (DB), while the 4th Armored Division is the 4e Division Cuirassée (DCr - the only one called such among the armored divisions, actually).
