| I really don't like how they adapt class trials. I've said it in an earlier discussion thread, but the anime doesn't do a great job of re-contextualizing in-game mechanics into the new format. Well, incorporating the recap panels throughout the trial instead of saving them for the end was a pretty good decision but the truth bullets were adapted poorly. Giving away that the student handbook was the deciding piece of evidence before Makoto reveals it just sucks away all the tension. In the game, it worked because there were other options to chose from (though I think in this case it was a bullet time battle mini-game) but here, it tells you the answer before the the bomb's dropped. This case wasn't exactly my favorite to begin with but the anime made it much worse here. I'm just really hoping they nail the next case. They haven't given me much reason to believe they will but man, case 4 was the true highlight of the game for me. It's basically the only case that I think is on par with the ones in the second game. Which by the way, is far superior to the first one in pretty much every way. & every-time I see a class trial episode my interest in a Danganronpa 2 anime adaption wanes. |
| Yeah, this one was pretty obvs. Only Celes can make Yamada do her bidding like a dog, like how he has to make her tea :/ I find it funny she has a little bit split personality too, yelling like that LOL At least Ishi is with his kyoudai now v__v I'm really curious about what Yamada said about remembering that he's met all of them prior to that containment though ;O what if their memories were wiped out and they all know each other, but they only regain those memories as they're dying or if they're hit on the head a lot? | Late post, I just have a question, why did Yamada say Celestia's real name before he died, and how did he know it? I guess you could say maybe he saw it from their handbook things, or he remembered that they've met before or whatever, but still why didn't he just say "Celes" or something? The whole mystery solving could've been avoided. I guess it's just a plot hole but still if there's an explanation I would like to hear it |
