| When I remember it, I think that Air "shocked" a lot of people when it got aired for the first time .. animation was amazing and the story was new as a "crying genre" ( if you consider it a genre ) .. I think some people at the time said that Air was the most heart breaking anime ever P: Now there are many anime that follow the same rules as Air so there is no shock or surprise element attached to it anymore. |

Well for me I'm not a very emotional person but anime like Air actually give me some feels which is rare and delightfull, it's almost tragic. I guess I kinda liked the characters so I could relate to 'em and boost the feel factor. |

| I too was taken back by how AIR lacked in comparison to Angel Beats and Clannad. Yes it was based on a visual novel and I'm sure its better then the show but there are ways of doing things that could have pulled it off better in the 12 episode run time it had. To me it was just a 7 on my list but hey if you want the full story go play the visual novel. |

| It was an ok anime.The beginning was very sluggish. It was extremely boring at some points to the point where I wanted to cry. I wasn't able to become attached to really any of the characters in this anime and I'm sure there's other people who can the same. The ending was extremely sad and brought me to tears, however, this anime isn't totally awful. It's just boring and sad lol. I must say, I really like the scenery and background art though, especially of the ocean. 6/10 probably won't ever touch this anime again. Touching, and sad, but overall, BORING. |
