| It appears that in the movie the Akatsuki is lead by Itachi, does anyone know why this is? Does that mean that Tobi has NO connection to the akatsuki at all. Im really confused and angry that pain isnt the leader xD |

| Yeah they would have at least recognized him if he had connections in that world. It's safe to say that something changed in there that might have stopped that, or possibly even changed his personality. Though it doesn't look like the Akatsuki changed that much. |
