| I really like the OP and that's what drew me in initially. Well so far has some amusing moments but the girls seem really monotonous and boring. Ironically the most interesting char so far is Itsuki. Actually Asa is lots of fun too, I'd like to see more personality from the others. |

| It's so weird seeing Tomokazu Sugita playing an unassertive, easily flustered, and non-snarky harem protagonist. I actually walked into this anime not knowing he was part of the cast, much less the main character, and so far he seems underutilized. He has some snarky moments, but for the most part the character is played rather subdued. Shuffle aired about a year before The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, and the visual novel came out another year before that, though I'm unsure if Sugita was part of the game's cast. Rin in the visual novel seems unvoiced though, so I'm assuming that the anime was the first time Sugita voiced Rin. Anyways, goodness gracious, all the girls are just flocking to Rin. Other then that, it's curious to see how in this relatively modern Japanese setting, the supernatural aspects are just being treated as part of daily life. It's nice that the anime isn't bogging itself down with having to explain the world's systems too much, but it would be kind of nice to get a bit more elaboration than the one lecture. |

| What we've learned from this episode is that the world has no shortage of perverts. If anything, I feel mostly bad for Kaede. She's basically already established that she loves Rin and wants to be with him, and then suddenly these two new girls show up out of nowhere. Meanwhile Rin is just kind of aloofly unappreciative of his standing. That being said, I don't think I can determine best girl just yet. Sheesh, Rin's harem is already getting out of hand. It seems to double every episode. |

| Maybe this anime isn't so plain after all. This strange swarm of middle-aged perverts who want to kill Rin out of jealousy is definitely an unconventional, innovative concept. Primula only just appeared and yet I already know she's perfect. What a sweet girl. |
