Kimba the White Lion, Speed Racer, Macross (SDF-1), Card Captor Sakura.

I'm actually getting into more of the older animes that I missed during the 70s and 80s. Looking for them is actually hard since there aren't many fansubs out there and they are only available via DVD. At least I was able to find Kaitou Saint Tail through the internet.
What if the Hokey Pokey is what it is all about?

I failed to mention Katou Saint Tail, Sailor Moon, Trigun, Cowboy Bebop.

I'm even finding some Casshern - Robot Hunter due to Casshern Sins

NGE, Ranma 1/2, Cowboy Bebop and Top wo Nerae! are my favorite classics.

I'd also say Urusei Yatsura is definitely worth mentioning. It's one of the oldest classics out there. Hard to say if it's one of my favorites yet, since I've only seen a fraction of the 195 episodes (not to mention 6 movies + OVAs). Definitely worth checking out if you haven't already.

Best of classics are mentioned in everyone's posts, so I'll omit those
One anime that warms me with nostalgia is Dragon quest: Dai no Daibōken, but it seems to be so old that I can't find it anywhere :(
