| i didnt pick up this show when it aired. i saw the first like 2 minutes and had enough of the cgi. yesterday i got me the Girls und Panzer (BD Hi10-1080p AAC) release off bakabt. watched 4 eps in a row and im enjoying this. its definetly a niche show but it not bad at all. |
| Just in case the original question hasn't been answered yet? Panzers + Cute girls = WIN! And... other adorable stuff too! This show is simply adorable! Well made, fun and funny, engaging characters and mysterious situations, well written and expertly produced. YES! It has flaws! Tons of them! But it's not a "PHD Thesis Paper" it's ANIME!!! Name one anime that doesn't have flaws... see? The "good bits" easily overpower the "bad stuff" in GuP. |

| "Panties are strictly forbidden! Tanks must be accurately depicted!" I completely agree with this philosophy! It makes G&P stand above the rest IMHO! Sure, 'fan service' and 'pantsu' are fun! But over use distracts from, rather than adds to, the anime as a whole. Except in Strike Witches, where it happens so often you just ignore it... There's TONS of mistakes to complain about! LOLZ! Most aren't important though. Complaining is fun! Many 'mistakes' are because otherwise the story would suffer, and that's accepted as part of "suspension of disbelief" I think. Some can be "explained away" by technology or other "cheats". Others are glaring, but in the end? Who cares! Cute Girls + Panzers! |
| Bleh. Girls und Panzer has really weak characters. They're tropes and so simple to summarize. But the premise is entertaining. |

| I just finished this series and I was surprised how much I liked it. Yea most of the characters are tropes and it has some corny scenes but you know the tanks and fights were very entertaining to watch |
