I think it's completely possible, they ended it with we will see you next time. And there wasn't a serious plot in this season, they got hero crystals(which are supposed to be really strong and cool) but they have only used them for crappy reasons. I also think that if we get another season it will have some sort of action plot, since they keep adding new stronger characters and skills.

I can feel it in my bones. They are promoting it way too much in Newtype, Megami, and Nyantype for them to not have a third season.

Also, Dog Days just screams merchandising, and so far their merchandise has been rather limited. They really need to keep the franchise going.

In the three last episodes there were so many hints to do some plot for a third season. I really hope they're going to do it.

I hope season 3 if it ever comes out be better than s2 , s1 was crap , watched all s1 in fast forwarding the videos just for sake of completion , s2 was okay ,it picked interest right from when the demon king appears...i hope if s3 comes out it be a lot better than its prequels

Nearly 10,000 copies of BD/DVD combined sales, yes there is a high chance for a season 3 to conclude the series.

I will bet with anybody that Season 3 will come.
So MAL finally starts locking news threads that are only a few weeks old?

I wonder where was the announcement of this change? Or we are seeing yet another case of changes made that impacted users but not communicated to them?

I wonder how long people would put up with this.

As much as I have a bunch of information to share about anime announced recently I cannot share it in news board, and the anime series is too disorganized and chaotic to share information except with people already interested in the particular series.

Let me put it this way: the producers would have to be absolutely stupid to let a goldmine like this slip through their hands. They know it's popular, because it sells like hotcakes, and I'm sure they anticipated on this by having S2 be as uneventful as possible, leaving more room for character development. Plus, you have this setting with more characters than before. Why NOT delve deeper into this world and get the most out of it?

Actually I would say that S2 is even more eventful than S1. S1 is dominated by the overriding plot line to fight the monster and find ways to go back. S2 has room for a lot of small but entertaining events, and it even has room for character development for Rebecca, Sink and Ekule as well as a bunch of other characters. Make S3 like S2 is the way to go.

sorry but i have to disagree, a proper plot > "more eventful"

I dont think we will see a 3rd season, the 2nd had no real selling points. All it was is short 1 episode story's and none of what made up the first season which was very enjoyable
