| I loved this show. Watched it twice. Of course you don't have to force yourself to watch anything if it's too painful, but I would recommend to watch least couple more episodes before dropping. If I remember correct, episode 7 was very cool. :P |

| I'm really fickle with what fantasy Anime I watch. I place emphasis on world building and a setting that puts it apart from other series. Utawarerumono feels like a boring, bland J-RPG (probably from it's roots?) with overbearing music and characters who bore me to tears (Hakuoro, despite being the main character, hardly gets that much attention). The designs are good, the cat ears and tails are a nice touch but couldn't of the guys got more of the same treatment. What I'm trying to say is while it's not the worst crap I've ever seen, it's not the best either and I'd willingly press on if I heard that it comes into it's own later. I'll definitely take your advice and watch a couple more episodes before deciding though. This post is brought to you by an extremely tired person.. beware |

| Actually, it's more like a strategy game if I'm not mistaken... There's some changes later in the show that alter the dynamics of it, getting into creationism and such. This was controversial and a lot of people didn't like it, but maybe it'll float your boat. For me, the Characters were the selling point though... Aruruu is just too cute... And Eruruu... I won't go there. I still think it might be worth giving it a shot, if it's stuck on you enough to even raise this question in the first place. Edit: wtf did I say rts? |

| Just thought I'd give my thanks to the people here who suggested continuing with it, the series really grew on me as the episodes progressed. It was worth watching once at least. ^^; Are the twins really boys though? A friend of mine told me that after I had finished watching it and I was like, "Waaah..? How did I miss that?" XD |
