| I think we need a place to suggest good movies for fellow horror movie lovers. So if you seen something good share it ;) Recently I've seen a asian horror/mystery/fantasy movie Gway Wik (Re-Cycle). If some of you liked Pang Brothers movies (like The Eye) you gonna like this one. So movie is about a successful writer Tsui Ting-Yin. She decides to write a new horror novel and strange things starts to happen. First part of the movie is quite generic for asian horror movies. The secong half slows down on horror and turns more in to fantasy. Even so the second half is when movie shows it's charm. And as in every asian horror/mystery movie at the end we get some jaw dropping twists.Movie also has beautiful cinematography and stunning visualls that reminds me of Silent Hill. |

| Hmmm.....I'll start off by suggesting my favorite horror film of all time, Santa Sangre. If you haven't seen this bloody masterpiece, I suggest you go and do so. Now. Other suggestions? Tetsuo:The Iron Man, Let the Right One In, 2000 Manics (1964), Kwaidan, anything with Coffin Joe (Ze do Caixo)...hmmmmm...I'll post more later. |
