| Its confirmed guys. PSP-3000 is real and its in development. As the FCC oficial site shows, there were made some tests in the new psp wireless device... FCC site & reports Since there was an "Request for confidentiality" there is no much info there. Of couse sony wouldn't be stupid to let such big info leak. What modifications you guys think they (Sony) wil make? I'm rooting for better CPU / RAM / Compatibility |

| i cant see what other useful features they might. maybe a bit more ram or somein and a mic (and obviously some way to stop hacks) if it is indeed even better then i would certainly sell my slim for one |

| They can try to make it anti-hackable but there are some freaks who can hack anything they want... I'm hoping for more resolution, more RAM, better build in boxes. |

| its a pretty awful set of updates to warrant upgrading -a new button (replace home button with a button with a PS logo, oooh wow) -a brighter anti-reflective screen -a microphone (mostly for skype, as far as the main designed implementation goes) now lets face it, the screen is great. it has a higher contrast, an anti-reflective surface and better screen response (no more ghosting effects), but for me (and i suspect for many other ppl aswell) the mic for skype is pretty redundant since i never ever use skype. and the PS buton is only for consistency with the ps3 i guess. if u dont already have a psp, then this might convince a few to maybe pickup one. But as far as I'm concerned, I'll be sticking with my slim for the forseeable future |

| If thats your only reason to buy it, forget about it. Buy something else that can play dvix and has more space. Converting it and having to check space every time you want to watch some series is pretty much annoying. It ends up being better watch at the pc... Psp is better for reading Manga. (Using PSP Filer) Or playing games, since thats the main objetive of the psp |

I think probably that is one of the two reasons SONY has released this update: to get non-psp owners to get one and getting phat owners to upgrade. I think most slim owners will not bother since of the minor differences and the fact that it is going to be much harder to hack. Even the latest slims arent pandora-isable so i dont know wat kind of hard-to-hack stuff they'd put in this iteration |

| My brother just got his 3000 today and it looks awesome. I'm gonna get one 2molo ive never owned ani of the psps (1000 or 2000) and it looks really nice and playing the games on that 3.5inch-ish screen isn't all that bad :D. I do hope DAX hacks it soon... |

| i dono i heard it is awsome but i have seen it (friend has it) and imo its not all it was hyped up to be..at least imo... ill stick with my PSP PHAT 5.00m33-3 CF thank you very much...why waste my money on it...i mean i got a PHAT....if i spend money it would be on a larger mem XD since i only got 4gb....well...and a 1gb but thats my magic memory stick XD i would spend money for a 8gb or save for when they come out for a larger amount =P plus...the amount of time i spend modding it and getting apps and stuff...well i just dont think the pro's in my case exceed the cons XD but if you dont got a psp then yah i guess it is ok...i still say phat is better though XD but in terms of stuff they make i think they should make a larger mem stick (larger in terms of memory) |
