...um wasn't it EXTREMELY obvious to everyone? Why it's being presented like some sort of big, shocking reveal?
We knew he loved her, why is that so surprising he slept with her? Plus he was already pretty mad at Yuichi for losing "someone very important", I automatically assumed this child was his, and not Shiba Taizen's. Lol.

Yet another nothingburger chapter with nothing actually happening. Just end it already please... how do we go from something so great like Prison Arc to this damn arc

Liar game would never
@Mei-o_Scarlett just like many others manga stories, Liar Game suffers from "final arc sucks balls", still- it was much more interesting to read. Arguably only the last few chapters are bad/mediocre.

TheMangaManiac guy is really funny, He would sit there, having months and months time to analysis chapter by chapter to say that he knew what was going to happen at the end, knowing almost every major plot (No offense btw, it's just funny)

The chapter was pretty amazing. It wasn't obvious that the child was of Shibe's dad, at least not to me . Tomodachi Game is peak

@TheMangaManiac I agree the arc is getting dragged, but I'm pretty sure Yuichi lied about her last words, he just said that to trigger Shibe's dad. Though to me, I'm still interested to see what will uncover. I still don't trust this author a lot because I don't like DEADTube, but I hope we uncover more about Yuuka and find out everything. I still think that his friends will support him, mainly Tenji, which is what I'm most excited about. Out of all the original friends, he is the only one who hasn't given up on Yuuichi (his reaction on the car was just "wow he is so twisted", in case you don't remember). If I were to guess, I'd say there are still around 8 chapters to go, so it'll probably drag a little more to uncover all of the drama and conclude the conflict.

@shtzt well, you see, the manga that surprised me times and times again became so damn predictable anyone could see the twists coming from miles away. It's more sad than anything, don't you think.

People want to be entertained and/or surprised, can't say final arc gives me either. Judging by the score, I am in minority.

For me TomoGame, firstly, a mystery manga. We are intrigued by "who", "how" and "why". And you can give 3 types of solutions to the mystery:

1) The bullshit one (it does surprise a reader, but it makes absolutely no sense)
2) The safe one (clues are there, but anyone could see it coming by mile)
3) The great one (clues are there, but majority of the readers will end up surprised)

Some of the novels can pull the 3rd type. For example, The Decagon House Murders. Cool book. I am not very happy with some of it's parts, but overall mystery and "whodunnit" were great.
TomoGame is the 2nd type. Sure, it's better than the 1st, which is the worst (see Star Wars Episode 8 or 9), but I am a bit sad it's "the butler is a killer", oh well oh well

@JoriKun I absolutely hate both DeadTube and Tamarowa, not just because it's edgy garbage that relies heavily on porn and cheap shock, but because it's worse written. TomoGame is lightning in the bottle, (was) easily 10/10 for me, author managed to come up with great complex characters and interesting games (I know the premise of "high-stakes game" is nothing new, but it's well-executed). It's the final arc when everything kinda falls apart, but not to the point of it being Promised Neverland lol.

I don't know when it ends, with the way it's been dragging especially. Hope it ends this year, but your guess is as good as mine.

(Also read Mayonaka Cross Method of his, I have no recollection of this manga whatsoever. Says a lot about the quality)

@TheMangaManiac Yeah I getcha and somewhat agree, though I'm more tolerant to trash. However, when there was that scene with the glasses girl almost naked with that weird mask dude I was sure that the author was already running out of fuel and went to do a more DEADTubish chapter. I also hope it ends soon because I'm really excited to see what'll happen and I just finished Liar Game so I'm out of high stakes game manga to read :(.

@JoriKun yeeeeaaah I also thought author went his usual route with rape and stuff. Well, he still wrote a lot of dirty things about Kokorogi and Yuichi's mom but it's pretty tame compared to his Deadtube stuff.

Also, not sure how I missed that, but the manga DOES actually end soon. Only few chapters are left.

yuuichi is a pure devil and great manipulator

Wake up to reality! Nothing ever goes as planned in this accursed world. The longer you live, the more you realize that the only things that truly exist in this reality are merely pain, suffering and futility.Everywhere you look in this world, wherever there is light, there will always be shadows to be found as well.As long as there is a concept of victors, the vanquished will also exist. The selfish intent of wanting to preserve peace, initiates war and hatred is born in order to protect love.

@TheMangaManiac Yeah I agree the way the writer treats some of the women is very questionable lol, but I'm glad to hear that it ends soon. If I am to guess, and it's something I've said on a previous chapter discussion, is that they'll probably uncover the truth about Yuka. Since it was said that the doctor was Taizen's scam-partner, it's probably just a scam orchestrated by her and Taizen. I think it'll go something like: "wow yuka evil?!" -> "wow yuichi abused/lied to?!" -> "that monster just wanted to be a human, we forgive you yuichi" -> "raaah shiba's father tries to kill yuichi a second time" -> "both end up hurt" -> "idk maybe happy ending lol"

Yea, Idk what the guy means absolutely obvious, while I am good at context clues and stuff, I am not analyzing every single detail, so nothing that has been happening is "obvious", and that's the kind of people these chapters probably are for, the auther can't just leave holes just cause some people are better at figuring stuff out (or have the time to do so), so yea, these fee chapters have been great exposition ones for me, and not boring at all

I think we all know it was very obvious that it was the Masakazu's baby in Yuka, it was hinted how much he loved her from the beginning of his reveal.

The way how Yuuichi tried to change people's despises and disgust from him to Masakazu by telling them that he did it with a disabled person and cheating on his wife is truly amazing.

Shiho would probably go take the bullet instead of Yuuichi, but I hope that Yutori does instead since she's the reason for them to be in the game before. So it would make sense she gets punished for it.

I still wonder what will the Administrators do, they won't just let the cops just cuff them and that's it. At least they would try to run away or fight.

And not to forget the other participants what will actually happen to them at the end...?
